The accommodation was excellent value for money and was clean with a TV and en-suite toilet and shower. It had its own entrance and small corridor with tea making facilities. There was also a small area outside with a table and two chairs which we enjoyed using in the evening. The location was quiet, peaceful and convenient being a 25 minute walk to Penzance town centre, train station and bus station making it easy to get around to other locations. There was also a bus stop within 5 minutes walking distance of the accommodation where you could catch a bus to Penzance or Lands end. This room was ideal for couples or a single person.

The property was fantastic. Immaculately presented and prepared. We had fresh flowers and biscuits in the kitchen in arrival. Emma, the rental manager was brilliant and gave helpful recommendations for local tourist locations and restaurants.

Very cute and cozy hotel, with great restaurant and amazing views from many of the bedrooms of St. Micheals Mount. The staff was kind and we enjoyed sitting by the fire and reading books in their lounge area in the cold weather.

The 10 minute wak to the train and bus station is fabulous. Lots of choices for day trips. T h e hotel is a n old house converted. B and B atmosphere with lots of decor items a B d cozy places to sit. No elevator so be aware if mobility issues. My single room was clean and cozy. Could be stuffy in hot weather. Oct. Was fine and 2 windows open but no screens. The single bed was a bit soft for me. But fine. The breakfast is lovely. Fruit, toast, cereal, yogurt, bakery selection meats abd cheeses. An egg station cooked to your liking, bacon, potatoes fried. Very nice staff. Polite, friendly, etc. I arrived at 9 pm in rain i am easily confused in new places.Took taxi. Taxi right there just srand by t h e sign- only 4 pounds. Easily walked. But note up hill. Need light luggage. The pub right by t h e train st ation has good food choices. Good prices. Locals come to watch games on a huge TV. Nice. A separate dining area for non sports people. Had one dinner at th e hotel. Nice service. Upscalish food choices. Tasty.

    A working port and daily wholesale fish market. I recommend (1st) "Mackerel Sky" and (2nd) "The Fishermans Arms". Easy walks to Mousehole, Penzance and (longer) St Michaels Mount. Good bus connections. Plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. Hilly.

    My partner and I love this area.

    My partner and I love this area. Newlyn has some fab food places, Tolcarne Inn and Argoe need to be booked in advance but Sky mackeral bar works as first come first served but has quick turnover. Good local pubs and some other eating places we have not tried. Mousehole is a 45 minute walk along the coast path/road and Penzance 40 minutes the other way. Both have some great eating places as well. Newlyn has some very steep areas with small cottage roads so if a nervous driver or hate hills look at Penzance or flat areas of Newlyn. NB: Newlyn is a fab working fishing port so if you do not like fish you can get meat options but whats the point as you will be missing out. NB2: Some eating places will close for the winter so check websites first.
