Superb staff, welcoming atmosphere , rooms very comfortable and the cost is excellent . Just an excellent hotel to stay in, I was made incredibly welcome, check in to support with anything.. what makes this special is the way the staff go out of their way. Huge kudos to Caroline she is a rare gem. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing in the restaurant, servers, chef, quality 5 stars!. The live music atmosphere again wow 5 stars!! Definitely be back

My partner and I had just gotten engaged two days before hand and booked Tanglewood to stay at, it was the best engagement celebration in our own private little pod with a private jacuzzi!! The hosts were amazing and so considerate when we told them we got engaged they put up beautiful banners and got us champagne to celebrate. Tanglewood also had absolutely everything we needed and more! (The hosts even carried a BBQ over so we could cook up some steaks). Would 110% recommend to couples wanting a staycay away from everything or someone wanting some alone time, it was the perfect place for peace and quiet! Next time we’re in Newry we’ll definitely stay again! 🤗

    The little town Camlough we stayed in was really lovely and you can walk around it's shops easily as they are close together. Great variety of places to eat and a large nisa extra convenient store. Being a coffee lover, I never seen as many signs advertising coffee available along our traveling route it was amazing but such a tease as you can't be having coffee pit stops every 5 minutes or my partner would just leave me out by one of the coffee trailers for the whole day by myself lol.

    Newry is my home town with only 3 hotels in the vicinity and...

    Newry is my home town with only 3 hotels in the vicinity and a handful of apartments. I stayed at The Beeches, a superb addition to the apartments on here. Newry is a compact city with a good range of restaurants and shopping centres. It is an excellent base to explore Carlingford Lough (both shores), the Mournes and Slieve Gullion Country Park.

    The people were really friendly, right from the moment we arrived at the train station, everyone was very helpful. There is a free shuttle bus from the train station to the centre of Newry. Ideal for shopping with 2 shopping centres and loads of lovely places to eat. Lovely pubs with live music for a night out. Also easy to get to Belfast for a visit. We had dinner in Bellini’s and drinks and great band in The Bridge Pub. When In a hurry one evening and looking for something to eat quickly, we went to Friar Tucks. Food was delicious in both places.

    amazing apartment GODFREY MEWS 10/10 excellent communication with our host. made fell very welcome by everybody we met. excellent food in Bellinis & Canal Court Hotel massive portions enjoyed cocktail (1st kiss) wonderful public transport shuttle bus from/to train to bus station 2 massive shopping centers could spend whole day or more here we only had 3 days i would have needed longer

    If you're looking for a taste of small village life in...

    If you're looking for a taste of small village life in Ireland, this is a great place to stay. It's fairly well situated about halfway between Dublin and Belfast (an hour + drive in either direction). People are friendly and very helpful. Slieve Gullion is a mountain nearby with ancient significance and great hiking.

    It was far to expensive for one night stay for all that was there rooms need a face lift and more signs to let you no were you are and how to get there in the hotel parking out side should be for people staying in the hotel and a pass provided when booking g so you can get in
