Everything was brilliant from entering the building we were greeted by a cheerful and pleasant young guy. We had forgotten our phone charger and the young guy managed to find us one and saved the day.The room was clean and Everything we needed was in the room. Lovely hotel and lovely staff

Friendly welcome we were then taken to our room and we were both well pleased with it,had everything to hand,we then returned downstairs had a drink at the bar then ordered a meal .Food was great and decided to stay with a couple more drinks.After a comfortable night went down and enjoyed the full cooked breakfast,please thank your staff . We stayed at the Greyound their sister pub, as the Alfred Wallace had problems with a leak. We received excellent communication and service and money off our evening meal. Stunning property to relax and unwind, there were special touches such as welsh cakes and your name welcoming you to breakfast. Great staff, friendly and helpful

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped and a lovely selection for a continental breakfast. Restaurant offered great food and it was a lovely place to stay. We would have stayed longer but it was booked up.

    Lovely place to stay. nice and kind hosts. heated floor was absolutely lovely. beverages provided and biscuits. The room was well equipped and very functional. well laid out and planned. well worth the stay. Newport is only 15 minute drive and a Turkish restaurant called Sen Bakery is definitely worth a visit.
