I lived in Petersfield for most of my life and come back...
I lived in Petersfield for most of my life and come back fairly regularly to visit family and friends. It’s a lovely market town and there is the Heath Lake which is very scenic. The shops have improved since I last visited and there are now some very good bars/restaurants. We ate mostly at Wetherspoon because we had to eat out a few times. I actually came to meet up with family. I fou nd the area well located for visits to other towns and villages. The peace & quiet allows you to recharge. There is a wonderful walk (Hangers Way) taking you down through Ashford Hangers Nature reserve, through Steep, into Petersfield & then back.
