From the moment we arrived, the welcome was of the highest standard. Our room was impeccable, spacious, spotlessly clean, and with a very nice view. For dinner, there are two excellent options: a four-course menu in the main restaurant or an à la carte menu on the terrace. My husband and I would especially like to highlight the outstanding service provided by Hamish, incredibly kind, professional, and discreet. As for breakfast, what can we say? Excellent quality, attentive service, and a clear dedication from the manager, Moreen. We will definitely be back. A great stopover for those on a road trip through Cornwall — perfect both as a base for exploring nearby towns and as a relaxing retreat on its own.

Thank you once again for welcoming us to your wonderful hotel. The staff are so kind and welcoming. Thank you so much to Carley for being so friendly and a wonderful person to talk to. All the receptionist stuff is so polite and very helpful. We stayed in room number 4 this time, and it was indeed spacious and very comfortable. I must say it was such a delight to meet Jenny once again she has a heart of gold and a wonderful person to meet every morning for breakfast. We had a lovely catch-up, and I just feel that she is family to me. As always, Jenny is kind and caring. The hotel was decorated to celebrate the Halloween festive season, and thank you for all the lollipops, haha!! Also, thank you for letting family members of mine come and see me and to use your car park that was much appreciated. Looking forward to coming back into December thank you so much.

The whole experience was exceptional and so well presented. We spent a couple of nights here for our wedding anniversary and Andrea had gone to the trouble of some decoration, a card and some bubbly for us which was such a lovely gesture. There is an awesome little book with instructions for your stay as well as lists for local walks, shops and places of interest etc. The hot tub was lovely and clean and dipped daily which we thoroughly enjoyed and we loved the fire pit too of an evening sat amongst the garden lights! The hut itself was stunning, laid out so well with everything you could possibly need and decorated beautifully I loved all the quirky and cute decorations! Lovely quiet location it felt like you were in your own little world there we thoroughly enjoyed the escape and cannot recommend it enough!

    Porkellis was a quite small little village but close to many...

    Porkellis was a quite small little village but close to many other towns like Helston, Penryn and Redruth. I've been to Cornwall the last three summers so im fairly familiar with the area now! There's plenty to do, with woodland or coastal walks. Tourist areas such as Falmouth and Newquay that offer lots of attractions and restaurants. We visited the Blue Reef Aquarium which was brilliant. Our favourite private beach at Gunwalloe Cove and we explored the countryside in small villages such as Gweek that has the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Halvosso and Constantine. It's the most beautiful place to visit and I am due to go back to Cornwall next summer

    Fabulous accommodation, very quiet and relaxing!

    Fabulous accommodation, very quiet and relaxing! Everything you could possibly need and more.. Self check-in was easy and the accommodation was clean and welcoming, The. Kitchen was well equipped and there was a welcome pack. WiFi was excellent. The owners were very communicative and available for any problems. Will definitely come here again.
