Property is very beautiful - you can see from the decoration alone that it is very well taken care of. Room and bathroom were very clean. Our hosts were nice and helpful. They gave us good pub recommendation and (very nice touch) set up a fire outside for us to sit in the evening. Location is very good too but may require a car as it's heely and a bit far from the marina.

It is a very nice hotel with a good restaurant and incredible breakfast. The staff was very friendly, especially the guy who was serving the breakfast. Parking in front of the hotel is included. Nice view from the restaurant terrace.

Beautiful little cottage just 10 minutes from the airport. If you read the instructions you can't go wrong. Comfy beds. Parking close by. Great for a good nights sleep before or after flights. Very quiet and peaceful.

    Having a Marinaview while I worked at my desk, being near to the marina for pleasant strolls, having a Waitrose and Nice eateries nearby, being able to open the window, even a little, during warm weather. Appreciated having a fan. I would certainly consider coming again.

    A town that has grown a lot in size but still retains a...

    A town that has grown a lot in size but still retains a small town feel with a bustling high street with many local businesses. The marina is impressive and a good place for a pleasant walk. Stoney beaches are very accessible and while they are not ideal for bathing they afford good views across the channel. The local skateboard park and lido are much used facilities.

    We particularly enjoyed walking around the marina & on out along the coastline heading south. The town centre was busy, the usual shops were found along the High Street, plus some independents. The beach is not really viable - lots of signs warning of 'sinking sands'. Some good places to eat in the Marina & near the harbour. We particularly enjoyed the H&W & the Royal Inn.

    nice harbour with plenty of eateries all around. Took up the steak night offer in La Marina Italian restaurant near the dock gates and pre meal drinks at The Siren pub at the other side of the dock gates which had an excellent choice of local and real ales and ciders.

    Portishead marina is beautiful, such a lovely walk around with bars, cafes and shops. We enjoyed watching the boats in the locks. Within walking distance to the town where we enjoyed an evening meal and craft beers at The port bar, and also great food at The Impero Lounge.

    I haven't visited for many years, so it was great to see what has been achieved. Love the Marina area, so good to see the regeneration of the area as a whole A great destination for an overnight stay, or longer to tour the area. Nice walks from the marina out to Battery Rocks Lighthouse, there is an open air lido, lake, nature reserve, good views across to Wales, what is not to like. Good choice of eateries and bars also. So very pleasantly surprised and it is great to see the area looks to be thriving, and lots of well planned housing in place too.

    We had an amazing stay the room is huge with a lovely ensuite and shower very comfortable bed and patio doors leading into a secluded garden area with outdoor seating. Maxine and family were great hosts made us feel very welcome and relaxed and so kind. The area is extremely well placed in portishead with access to good shops and amenities a very short walk from the door. Fantastic value for money and would definitely stay again. Thankyou so much for all the hospitality and impromptu breakfast was greatly appreciated 🙂🙂👍

    Property was perfect for our needs. Great that we could bring our 2 dogs for no extra charge. The extra touches made our stay even better. Welcomed with basic groceries, bread, milk, tea, coffee, juice. Complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. Great to have complimentary laundry products for the washing machine and dryer. Everything has been thought through carefully and we definitely recommend staying here. Location was great for Bristol (20 mins) and lots in Portishead too. Highly recommended!

    Loved the location as it is in the marina and close to cafes and restaurants . We were able to take our dog at a cost of £5 per night which is exceptional these days. Staff were very friendly and explained where we could park which is just opposite the hotel and is also free. Lovely walk around the marina area in the evening. A great stop off point for us travelling from North Wales to Cornwall. We will definitely stay here again.
