Pulborough is a really quiet picturesque area.
Pulborough is a really quiet picturesque area. There are lots of opportunities for nature walks and, if you’re living in the city like I am, it’s great to get out and be around quiet for a time. The area also has several beautiful venues for weddings, which is why I went and discovered the area. It’s great if you’re looking for a cute charming village getaway. We stayed at The Roundabout Hotel as it was in an ideal location for all that we had planned on our pre-Christmas break. Pulborough suited our needs and enabled us to visit our friends who live nearby and also Arundel, the Petworth and Goodwood, and Chichester. It was a good place to be based for visiting the stunning and bird-rich wetlands at Pulborough, Arundel and Amberley in winter. There was a fabulous and generous Thai restaurant, River Moon, where we ate twice. Tescos is very handy. The Black Rabbit near Arundel had the most stunning fish and chips and venison casserole, great after a visit to the Wetlands centre. Coming from a quieter part of the British Isles the worst trouble was road closures and poor diversion signs for us visitors who don't know the area very well, even with a sat nav and google maps.Guest review byLizIsle of Man - 10.0

Owners and staff were great, breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt pots with homemade flavourings, locally sourced bread was delicious, as were the local sausages and mushrooms. Good car park next door. Great views, countryside, and walks nearby, including an easy walk to the Rivermoon Thai Restaurant, which was sublime.
