We stayed at The Roundabout Hotel as it was in an ideal location for all that we had planned on our pre-Christmas break. Pulborough suited our needs and enabled us to visit our friends who live nearby and also Arundel, the Petworth and Goodwood, and Chichester. It was a good place to be based for visiting the stunning and bird-rich wetlands at Pulborough, Arundel and Amberley in winter. There was a fabulous and generous Thai restaurant, River Moon, where we ate twice. Tescos is very handy. The Black Rabbit near Arundel had the most stunning fish and chips and venison casserole, great after a visit to the Wetlands centre. Coming from a quieter part of the British Isles the worst trouble was road closures and poor diversion signs for us visitors who don't know the area very well, even with a sat nav and google maps.Guest review byLizIsle of Man - 10.0

Lots of great walking opportunites.
Lots of great walking opportunites. Wine tasting and bird watching all easy to do here. Book a taxi in advance if you do need one. It's a small village with no uber. Not a problem if you book in advance. Beautiful countryside and so many places within easy reach.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom

The house itself is a bit of a mix of luxury and ramshackle, which I kind of loved! It was definitely quirky and touches like the port hole and copper bath felt very decadent. Close proximity to Littlehampton, RSPB Pulborough and Arundel (all of which we visited during our two-night stay), plus walking distance to the pub.
