Redlynch is a good starting point for trips to the New Forest. It is set outside the cattle grids so no ponies or cattle wandering around but lots of wildlife and deer. Redlynch is a pretty area and close to good areas of the forest for walking. It’s close enough to Lyndhurst for those who wish to go there, but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The Tack Room was an absolutely lovely place to stay for a short break. The accommodation was in pristine condition and catered for everything that you could possibly need. The hosts Astrid and Mark were great and on hand if you needed anything. For a special treat we would recommend the Chewton Glen Kitchen restaurant and fish and chips on Mudeford beach. Sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy this wonderful location and walking trails nearby.
