Pubs nearby are still 10/15 mins drive- no where to eat after like 8pm…as pubs don’t serve food after this time. Do not go to the kebab shop in Redmire it took 30 mins wait to make and was awful lol. Nice quiet quaint village perfect to get away from city life but not much to do and not many choices of food. ‘Saffron’ the Indian restaurant I was skeptical about but I was actually amazing food and staff!Guest review byLiliUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Quiet, friendly village.
Quiet, friendly village. Good pub, excellent views and ideally situated for a visit to Castle Bolton and surrounding waterfalls and walking trails. Not too far from Catterick, where there are plenty of shops and facilities, and the local villages nearby have a good selection of pubs and restaurants.Guest review byEUnited Kingdom

The Pub was attractive and the room though small was well fitted out and comfortable and the price very reasonable. The staff were friendly though a bit chaotic. There was a large funeral party in the bar but the Pub produced a well cooked if unadventurous supper for us as overnight guests and the noise from the party was unexpectedly very little. Spotlessly clean, the Redmire Inn is both a drinking pub and an eating establishment. A choice of six hand-pulled ales says it all plus a great choice of food at very good prices.
