Totally wonderful in every way, The room , the location and the friendliness of the staff could not have been better. For me the most outstand people were the breakfast staff. The table service was faultless and the chef produced the best hotel breakfasts I can remember. Everything cooked to order and to perfection, no trace of items just being kept warm on a hot plate.

Everything about this place is perfect. The host Peter and the staff are brilliant. The room we had (5) was gorgeous with a comfy bed, huge bathroom and a separate TV room to chill in. The bar has a real fire. We had our meal here and both had steak which was absolutely beautiful and I was persuaded to try a few of the wines and settled on a lovely French one. The breakfast was also very good. Then off for a walk on Filey front to clear our heads x

    I loved it at Reighton as the whole area is fabulous for...

    I loved it at Reighton as the whole area is fabulous for beach walking with the dogs, eating places and lots of places to visit. The Beach Cafe is a must. If you want to access the beach some of the climb downs are tricky but further along in to Reighton Sands Caravan Park there is a shuttle that takes you down to the beach and brings you up if you prefer, so that the beach is accessible to everyone. We preferred the walk and having dogs the lovely safe walks are invaluable along the Cleveland Way. Places to eat Beach Cafe, The Bull Inn at Gristhorpe, Horsehoe Inn and Piebald Inn & The Swan Hunmanby. Easy to get to Filey and other places

    Hunmanby gap (Reighton) is excellent if you like a quiet, clean, sweeping beach. Car parking is very reasonable and the local cafe has nice food and drinks. Just a 3 mile walk across the cliff path to Filey.

    Very disappointed, booked for 3 nights my partner and I for my birthday. Door handle came off reported to reception straight away, advised someone coming now it never happened, TV's didn't work no signal, leg coming off dining table a lot a light bulbs not working and the furniture not fit to sit on in my opinion, Tv remotes held together with tape, not a very welcoming place hence checked out the following day, called in reception to let them know, they were not interested, also advised the door handle still not be fixed, all we got told its nothing to do with us, its a private rent, would never recommend The Bay, feel a refund should be offered, watch this space

    the beach at reighton is one of the best because its wide sand lots of space the cafe they do great food when there this week we saw the wild doliphins in the sea that is the 1st time i have seen them in 6 years of viesting that beach. the only down side is they is no public tolets

    We stayed @ The Bay Filey @ Bay Retreat it was fabulous we would love to come back for longer next time it was Fabulous the accommodation was all brand newly done out v clean easy to book and everything and more exceeded our expectations
