I had an opportunity to visit many hotels, but I can't remember when was the last time I've met such a helpful and nice staff. Congrats to the owners for having such a great team! Besides that, hotel has very cozy (little small, but it will do) and well equipped rooms. Breakfasts are great. Can't say a bad thing about cleanliness. Very good location, very close to station but still very quiet. I would definitely visit again.

We got an upgrade to the Dutch Suite, which was very large and comfortable. The evening meal and the breakfast were excellent and the restaurant and reception staff extremely professional and friendly. We used the pool and the sauna, which were both very good.

    Richmond is a wonderful town, with plenty of entertainment...

    Richmond is a wonderful town, with plenty of entertainment such as theatres and cinema, especially Richmond Theatre on Richmond Green. There are plenty of wonderful walking routes and parks, Richmond Royal Park is beautiful. Loads of fantastic Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. Excellent transport links across London and wider areas. Richmond can be expensive, but is worth the extra costs for a short break.

    Richmond is a delightful little town on the Thames.

    Richmond is a delightful little town on the Thames. There is easy access to the river and it's an ideal walking artery. The ancient bridge there means you have easy access to both sides of the river. It's a good base for London and surrounding areas. The public transport by train and bus is extensive. There are two theatres. The Orange Tree is remarkable with proper plays, but it is quickly booked up. There is an Art Deco cinema. It has plenty of restaurants and cafes. Some good ones are near the cinema, going up to Peterham. There are plenty of middle of the range chain shops, but on the side streets ( leading to the Green) there are interesting independents.

    An excellent, quiet, comfortable hotel close to the Thames within easy walking distance of the town and with access to lovely walks along the river. The restaurant serves delicious food. All staff are very courteous.

    Richmond is just gorgeous!

    Richmond is just gorgeous! The riverside is beautiful, and the Hollyhock Cafe was a delightful treat. The artisan market was also lovely, lots of shops on the high street and the cheese shop (Teddington Cheese) is fabulous. Highly recommend the Italian chocolate and gelato shop near the village green and a river cruise if you have the time!

    Thoroughly enjoyed Richmond and was quite central enabling trips to London Central. Enjoyed meal in Richmond after visiting local garden centre - had received positive reviews of this establishment prior to visit Enjoyed theatre trip using public transport (train) from Richmond which was easy to navigate.

    Lovely village feel with a great variety of upmarket shops although mostly chain, there are some independents. Great restaurants along the river and a nice walk. The Green is also pleasant - spoilt for choice on pubs and restaurants in the area to choose from. Easy to get to via tube or train. Feels relatively safe after hours.

    The hotel is on a quiet street in an excellent neighborhood in southwest London. This is a modest establishment, but it is very charming and welcoming and is an unusual offering--a room in a bed and breakfast above a very nice old-fashioned London pub. The breakfast room was very cozy and the food was good and generous. The server was very nice and attentive. The room was clean with nice large window overlooking the quiet street. The room rate was very reasonable for what you get.

    The fruit and yogurt side of the continental breakfast was good. The ambience in the hotel lobby was lovely and the location excellent. Easy to walk to the Thames where it was very pictureque and there were many restaurants, and also from the station with numerous and frequent lines into London. We could also walk to the beautiful Kew Gardens (where we had a private hour long tour which was excellent) and the National Archives, but caught a train back!

    Richmond is one of the best district of London. This hotel is located in Richmond Hill. It is close to Richmond Park and mainly public transportation. Taxis and Uber either. Many restaurants, pubs, book stores are near as well. In some minutes and easily you can reach the London business, turístic and amusement places. The hotel’s staff is very attentious and well trained. Parking is a little bit expensive.
