    I had business to attend to but I walked from the hotel to...

    I had business to attend to but I walked from the hotel to the river Tyne then to Ryton village full of old character properties, a very old church and a medieval pen fold. I ate at a local pub. The road outside the hotel has regular buses between Newcastle & Hexham.

    Lovely cottage, comfortable, Nicely decorated furnished.Everything you need. Easy driving access to Newcastle and to the Tyne Valley. Walking distance to a beautiful cafe and the community pub. Lovely historic village.
