I really liked that it was a lovely house where me and my family could all be together, we managed to get parked and we had tea and coffee and condiments already there which is handy as they are normally the stuff you forget. It has 2 bathrooms one with a shower one with a bath, but it was handy when you have a few people staying. The manager was brilliant when I needed alate check out, they couldn't have been more helpful.

I wanted to introduce my boyfriend to the concept of a traditional British bed & breakfast, and Bob and Olha's stay exceeded all of our expectations! So friendly and attentive, they welcomed us and even upgraded to a bigger room, which was super spacious, warm and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is out of this world and so worth experiencing, it's huge too! As I'm Ukrainian it was especially pleasing to learn that Olha is Ukrainian also, she showed us lots of Ukrainian books, decorations and ornaments around the house - it truly felt like coming home. We will be back and will recommend Bob & Olha's place to all of our friends!

I booked the family room for 2 adults and 2 children to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday in laws birthday in the Pen y Cae inn. The room decor was beautiful and it was perfect for our family. The staff were really helpful with ensuring that everything was perfect. A huge thank you to all of the staff. The zoo and park were an added bonus.

Location is superb for walking and site seeing. Accommodation is gorgeous and the views are superb. Decor is lovely and warm. Mini zoo is on the doorstep. Donation in the letterbox before you go in is a good idea. Menu and staff are 💯 perfect, we are 3 course each evening. There's art all over the pub for sale, lots of different stuff to buy.

This is a fantastic place to stay. It’s modern and spacious. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. The pub next door is friendly and serves delicious food. It’s an ideal place to stay for the nearby waterfalls you can walk under.
