stayed at the pub for my wifes birthday, chose a superior room with a garden view. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are of an exceptionally high standard in terms of tiling and fitments and toiletries. The pub has 9 rooms and was completely refurbished about 8 years ago I think. The food was again of the highest standard,with a good menu and choice. A very nice destination, though we were looking for an overnight stop on the way to the Lakes. We discussed returning and using the Fleece Inn as a base for other adventures.
