The accomodation is sited at the top of a sloping field with...
The accomodation is sited at the top of a sloping field with great views over the River Exe to Exmouth. The host (Tricia) provides an electric buggy (Daisy) for residents to use to move up and down the field as required - great fun. There was a bowl of fresh eggs courtesy of the resident chickens, a jar of yummy chocolate biscuits, individual plates of scones, muffin, biscuit, portions of butter and jam awaiting our arrival, with a pot of cream and a bottle of milk in the fridge - delicious and much appreciated start to the holiday. Washing liquid, plenty towels and condiments all provided. The hot tub is a large double ended oval shape and this was ready to use immediately - perfect end to our evenings. Tricia is the loveliest, friendly lady and easy to chat to when around. If I'm ever down in that area again I will definitely stay at Violet May's retreat, wish we could have stayed longer.Guest review byj9higUnited Kingdom
