I had a room upgrade to a twin which was lovely after a long trip, nice big tv too ,I arrived a bit earlier than the earliest booking in time but they allowed me to go up to the room which was a v nice gesture .The room was spotless and air con a lovely touch now summer is here...breakfast was lovely I asked fro scrambled instead of fried eggs as I only eat the yellow and the chef obliged, she also came out and apologized there were no hash browns. but gave me extra bacon instead..Excellent service

The fact that we stayed beside the grounds of the Battle of Bannockburn was fantastic, great history, unfortunately the visitor centre was closed during our stay. We were there for the history and were not disappointed, taking in the Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument, Battle of Bannockburn, The Kelpies, and the Falkirk Wheel. Having a rental vehicle with built in navigation was a bonus and made getting around so much easier than if doing so strictly by map.

I was only in Stirling for a day , so visited the Wallace monument, which was fantastic! Really informative and if you can make the 246 steps to the top, the view is fantastic! There’s a lovely gift shop and great cafe too .

We stayed one night and actually tried to book another night but the property was fully booked. We visited the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle but ran out of time. We'd happily return again and take a bit more time to look around.

Stirling is a beautiful historic town with many fun sites to see. I needed more time to see them all. Stirling Castle should have a shuttle service bringing people up to the castle, Very limited parking and not conducive if you have a person with walking issues. Plan ahead. Maybe go later in the afternoon when there are less people.

We only had half a day in Stirling and could have stayed much longer. Everyone in my family enjoyed the castle very much. My children actually asked to extend the time we had budgeted to see the castle, which is the first place this happened. We would have loved to spend more time seeing the Wallace Monument and the town of Stirling, but unfortunately had to leave.

Sterling is a fantastic place for a couple of days.

Sterling is a fantastic place for a couple of days. The castle is very impressive. They have free guided tours on the hour that are well worth the time invested. Along with the castle finding the Old Bridge, the Wallace Monument and out to Bannockburn for a different view. Holy Rude Church and Cemetery are quite fascinating. A day trip to Falkirk to see the Kelpies and the Forth Bridges is a must if you have an engineer along with you. We greatly enjoyed the food and vibe at The Portcullis right at the food of the Castle.

The location was very good - very close to centre of town, and within walking distance of both train and bus stations. The castle is close by although it is a long upward slog but that is inevitable. I took a bus to both Bannock Burn Centre and also to The Wallace Monument. Both easy to do. The single room was very close to reception and no stairs to climb. The bed was very comfortable. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but I would definitely return to the hotel if/when I am next in Stirling.

The location was excellent, a comfortable walk from both the city centre and Stirling castle. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The leisure suit was excellent, and the gym had pretty much everything you could want. Our room was large and all the usual stuff was supplied plus a small table and chairs. It's definitely one of the biggest hotel rooms I've stayed in. There was also plenty of parking right on the hotel grounds.

Excellent hotel in the City Centre, close to the train station too. The room we had was fantastic and a great size for family of four. The room was very clean with a very nice bathroom. We paid extra to have breakfast but well worth it with the variety of food available! The bar, restaurant and lounge areas are very comfortable too.
