Picture-book thatched cottage, in remote valley setting. Comfy bed. However missing benefit of on-site owner or manager. General air of neglect in gloomy breakfast/sitting room, part refurbished and full of musty furniture. Extensive gardens completely overgrown. No one present on arrival and poor bathroom facilities. There is a pub down the road which does an excellent evening meal. If we had had more time we would have tried one of the local walks, we have to remember that we are both in our 80s, so they have to be in our capabilities.Guest review byE ChrisUnited Kingdom
