The location is great to walk to restaurants and the town/beach as well as buses and trains. The hotel buildings are amazing and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff are friendly and informative, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s atmospheric and has views over Swanage.

My partner and I had such a lovely stay here. The room was so lovely and modern and such great value for money. The staff were super easy to deal with and warm and welcoming, and the main strip and seaside are a very short walk away. Highly recommend!

    Lovely place for a weeks holiday, Swanage has many eating places, sometimes pricey. And the good ones are all reserved quickly. So you have to be quick! Durston park was very good for a walk which is nearby. Corfe Castle too steep for us. The steam train quite expensive for only a few miles from Swanage.

    Great family location, lots of restaurants to choose from. Only minor issue, you need to try and book tables during high season as a lot of places were very busy. We only found one place where you could book online.

    Busy seaside resort, and good pier and nice clean sandy beaches. However, apart from few pubs , all places were closed shortly after 9pm, including most restaurants- surprising on August Bank Holiday.

    Swanage is an amazing place to relax and enjoy the beach and sea. A variety of food and shops and arcades in the town make the need to travel any further unnesaccery. A trip on the steam train to corfe castle and a cream tea after a walk up the hill and back is also a great experience

    It's a lovely seaside town with the usual attractions such as boat trips, arcades and crazy golf. What I did think was good were the amount of public toilets, especially as we went during the peak time of August!! There are plenty of cafes and places to eat. We walked around, but there seemed to be plentyof public transport if you want to go further afield.

    Swanage is a lovely is a traditional seaside town, with a long safe, clean beach and promenade. The shops consist of lots of fish and chip shops, gift shops and the usual amusement arcade found in traditional seaside towns. There is a steam railway situated right inside the town, as well as coastal walks.

    The hotel was very clean and bright. The bedrooms were spotlessly cean. The breakfast was nice with a good selection. The location was good, just a short walk along the beachfront to the town centre. The best thing, though, was the amazing view from the hotel garden, which is absolutely beautiful. All in all, it was a lovely hotel in a good location, and I would definitely stay here again.

    A charming traditional hotel which epitomises the glory days of tourism in Swanage. It was like revisiting the holiday hotels we used to go to 40+ years ago. It blends everything modern with everything traditional in a way that is so endearing - for example the shower is the best I have seen in any hotel - whether that’s 5-star or budget.

    Beautiful house with easy access to centre of Swanage and the beach. Plenty of space for relaxing and dining and beautiful bedrooms- particularly the master bedroom. Very handy having 2 bathrooms as well. Lovely secure courtyard for our dog. We really would not hesitate to come back.
