The room was spacious and very comfortable with a wonderful huge shower. The food were really great and the quality of service really great. We tried an evening in the cabana. It was a relaxing and fun time just the 2 of us.

    Beautiful property and huge garden/forest to walk around. Thrilling to know that so many prominent historical figures stayed there as well in the past centuries. (Garibaldi's visit, for istance, was a surpise to me!)

    The hotel is gorgeous in its glorious setting. The staff at reception and the bar are really helpful and friendly! Wonderful bed and a beautifully decorated, comfortable room. The deluxe room with a view to a grey, gloomy wall for that price... Hmmm The private dining with two main courses I chose but couldn't finish both... Hmmm The worst thing is, that the deposit (pardon me, it's a few thousand pounds!!!), which was taken from my card during check-in, hasn't been returned a month later!... Hmmm.
