Business trip.
Business trip. Visited Great Dawley as a guest of the Town Council for Dawley Day. Preparation for the 150th anniversary of Captain Matthew Webb's first English Channel crossing. Dawley Day was brilliant, put on by the Town Council for families and it was free. I visited to go to the RAF Museum at Cosford.
I visited to go to the RAF Museum at Cosford. Excellent museum, but part of it is currently closed for refurbishments. Don't let that put you off visiting, though. The Italian Restaurant (Radici) at Shifnal is excellent.Guest review byWilliamUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Telford shopping centre is well within walking distance from...
Telford shopping centre is well within walking distance from the Holiday inn. The centre is very large with a fantastic array of shops and places to eat. Just a short drive from Telford centre is the iron bridge gorge with the iconic iron bridge and museums which well worth a visit. Also close to Telford is RAF Cosford aircraft museum which is free to enter you only pay for parking. The aircraft museum is vast also containing the cold war collection of V bombers.
