We enjoyed our stay at the Hartnoll Hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, we had a lovely room which was larger than we expected as it was called a "cosy double". The food was excellent, especially the homemade bread. Locationwise it is possible to walk about quarter of an hour along a footpath to arrive at Knightshays NT property, which is very well worth a visit.

    I did not expect to go into 4 different rooms and be met by dust on chairs in all the rooms they tried to change me to. Worse still gums on a bed spread cover that l showed to the Receptionist and the Manager.

    Tiverton was a great little town with lots of independent shops & places to eat . Tiverton Canal Horse drawn barge trip was highlight of our break We visited 2 National TRust properties nearby too. Everything was very easy in close proximity to Pippins - with easy access to parking Food at Rose & Crown pub Calverleigh was very tasty & landlord friendly We have already recommended the accommodation to friends & family

    Tiverton is a beautiful town with interesting and historic buildings. Great individual shops in the town and beautiful canel with horse drawn barge experience which was amazing. The town was dead after about 4pm. The crime and anti social behaviour seemed to be high compared to other Devon Towns but we did not witness anything too uncomfortable apart from a couple of very drunk people who were very loud.

    i loved seeing my relatives even though it was for a very sad occasion, the weatherspoons pub was great and the pub just a bit along the road on the opposite side called the seven stars i think,definatly something stars anyway. All the people i came across in tiverton were friendly and polite, bought back great memories of when i was growing up as we used to visit the area almost every year visiting our lovely family in rackenford and tiverton, A huge difference to Luton Where i born and bought up !

    Tiverton buildings were full of character as we walked around the so called town but not much to do I thought Tiverton was something of nothing really, not for me but go yourself and see what you think as we have all different expectations

    Loved every moment of our stay.

    Loved every moment of our stay. Wholeheartedly recommend and also Your Dogs are accepted. All very relaxing, nothing was ever to much for the staff who we’re always so happy and caring and went out of the way to help with anything.

    Such a lovely welcome from Richard and Ling who look after guests impeccably. From carrying my suitcase upstairs, explaining parking and places to visit, to the best breakfasts I've had in a guest house. Great location to explore Tiverton and the surrounding area. My single room was small, but provided everything I needed, plus a lovely river view. Shared bathroom no problem. So pleased I booked here to break up a long journey and explore Devon. Absolutely wonderful, and really good value for money.

    I decided to stop over at the last minute, the Tiverton Hotel was ideally placed for a business meeting the next day. I was greeted pleasantly, booking a meal, I had a steak that was cooked to perfection. The room and facilities were good, the bed comfortable. Similarly, the cooked breakfast was perfectly done. I stay in many hotels around the UK, the food here among the best.

    The breakfast was amazing! Great choice and super service. The sausages are very good, but the marmalade is amazing! 🤭 Chris and Sue made me feel very welcome, and were eager to help in any way. They were very helpful with tips and suggestions for Tiverton.

    The hotel is in a rural setting near to Tiverton. It is next to a river. The hotel serves good pub food. The rooms are set away from the pub in a long annexe. Windows from the room lead onto a little patio area. The rooms are spacious and clean.
