I've stayed at La Fregate a number of years ago and it only gets better. Excellent location and beautiful views over St Peter Port harbour. Comfortable rooms and excellent beds. The chef is outstanding and I enjoyed the best hot breakfast I recall having in a hotel. The restaurant for dinner is superb with a great seasonal menu.

The room was very comfortable. I have stayed in most of the rooms in this hotel and this was one of the best. Separate bedroom and sitting area were a bonus. The room was very clean with a good selection of refreshments that were refreshed daily.

A centrally located hotel in the middle of the city. Ideally located. We used it as a stopover after arriving by ferry. Ideal proximity to the harbor and old town with lots of shops and pubs. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Have a drink in the beautiful garden!

    Like the quietness of the Vale, away from the town centre,...

    Like the quietness of the Vale, away from the town centre, tucked away at the end of the island. I love the location of the peninsula hotel facing the ocean, the sun rise is amazing in the early hours of the morning all golden really beautiful. Going to the town centre you need a bus , it runs hourly week day and 2hourly week end. Taxis are hard to come bye and expensive, book with the hotel 24rs pre. The food in the hotel is nice but a bit pricey you don't really have much choice no nearby restaurants.

    For us it was the perfect location, far enough away from the town but close enough just to pop into town, we took our dog(thank you Fiona) plenty of local walks, the locals were so friendly and the local area was nice and clean, I would recommend Vale to families or the older generation.

    Clean friendly nice restaurant food good breakfast good rooms clean value for money! Beach in front not sure if sand to sit on but boats there taxis easy to get though rather expensive but bus services though never used!they do have big pool too

    Great hotel location for coastal walking and bathing.

    Great hotel location for coastal walking and bathing. Near L'Ancresse Bay and Pembroke Bay with the best beaches on the island. Puffin & Oyster is an excellent place to eat when you cannot dine in the Peninsula Hotel. Buses are regular and accessible and near the hotel.

    1. Amazingly friendly staff - who welcomed you and you got to know during your stay. 2. Setting and location of the hotel - very close to two amazing beaches. Easy to get around from this location by walking, or by car / bus. 3. Bar and restaurant welcoming and very friendly staff.Food good and reasonably priced. Cocktails were well made and a great treat.

    Stall were lovely and helpful, the food was delicious and the bar had a nice ambience with great live music on Friday night. It is nice to escape the business of the town centre as the location of the hotel is a bit quieter with stunning surroundings. Would love to stay here again and would recommend to anyone.     Nice hotel in great location. Staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. We made a late booking as our trip was extended due to ferry cancellation. Our room had a fairly uncomfortable bed in the only room available but for our second night they moved us to a better much more comfortable room.

    Nice hotel with very friendly welcoming staff. Nice restaurant and friendly serving staff. Reception staff were kind enough to prepare a packed breakfast as I was leaving a 8.00am as breakast is between 8.00am to 10.00am. Nice for them to arranged taxi to the airport.

    Set in a lovely location there are great walks straight from the front door of the hotel. The hotel interior is modern and bright and just a great place to sit and have a coffee. This lovely hotel also has very friendly and helpful staff and they made our stay even better.
