We had a 2 night break, the location is excellent within walkig distance of the town centre and access to Burghley Park. Good parking. The staff were excellent, especially Bella who organised a change of rooms with less stairs. Millys restaurant was good, staff very helpful good breakfast , varied menu. Room comfortable nice toiletries and good shower. Fresh milk and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. Overall an excellent stay.

Lovely staff great food and fabulos bedroom We got up graded as they were launching their apres ski hut and wanted to ensure we got a quiet night -which looked brilliant fun but not for us two oldies who drank brandy in bed! Fire in the bar very cosy and Stamford is a treat especially on market day (Friday) sadly I had to work !

    This is a recently refurbished old hotel which has had no expense spared to bring it up to a very high standard. The ambience is excellent, high level of finishing and comfort. Wansford is a charming old village which is very quiet. The hotel sits next to the River Nene giving a lovely peaceful rural feel. A great place to meet friends and stay.

    Warm welcome on arrival, staff could not have been more helpful. Comfortable room with luxury fittings and bedding, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, quiet and effective air con. Comfy bed and great walk-in power shower. Excellent breakfast. We also loved the historic features of the hotel and the pretty village setting next to the river nene and the pretty gardens.

    From the moment we stepped into the hotel the experience was exquisite.The staff were so helpful and our suite was incredible.The grounds are stunning and the food at Prevost was the best we have ever had.
