Great hosts and friendly staff. Within walking distance of Whipsnade zoo and a car ride to the downs. A beautiful thatched property with a lovely beer garden. Whipsnade is a wonderful zoo in beautiful countryside. On a very wet day we got to see tigers play fighting, elephants chasing the zoo train and hippos rolling in the pool. Great pub stay. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Made it clear they were there to offer any help required. I was a single adult staying only one night and the room was just right for that. Attractively well furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Brilliant, well furnished garden outside. In the countryside, Whipsnade Zoo within walking distance and close to Dunstable Downs so great area for walking and gliding! Not far from Woburn Abbey, other attractive small villages as well as Milton Keynes. Easy to find and close to Luton Airport with a nearby network of major routes such as the MI and train links only a short car distance away into London.Guest review byHelen
