The location was great. In addition I have dietary requirements which they went out of their way to accommodate. I also had dinner their one night with some friends and the meal for all of us was really good.

It was basic enough to keep us happy and that's all that matters , it had everything that was needed , a comfy bed , we are both 6ft 2 and didn't have a issue with the length of the bed.

    Zeals is a convenient stopover point if wishing to break...

    Zeals is a convenient stopover point if wishing to break your journey from SE England to the West Country. (We travelled from Kent to Cornwall). It is very close to National Trust Stourhead. Other than the Bell & Crown we didn't really explore the village, but we can thoroughly recommend the Bell & Crown for an overnight stay or a lunchtime stop.

    Rooms and extras in room are high quality. Customer service was very good and the food was also very good quality amd tasty, the food also offered extremly good value for money in terms of quality and portion size.
