We had to find a quick solution due to cancelled flight at short notice-close to the airport. This apartment was 15mins journey and we found a spotlessly clean modern room waiting for us within the hour. The owner arrived to ensure everything was in order and explained how the air con, entry system and tv worked etc. He was so helpful and welcoming . it was very well equipped with coffee machine and fridge where water and soft drinks were proved. The linens and towels were great quality and the beds comfy and large. It was located on the coast road with the sea metres from the door and a Sandy beach a 5 min walk away. The area was fairly low key but several tavernas and cafe bars were nearby as well as a convenience groceries store. It was a bonus to find this great place after a disappointing airline experience

We can’t recommend this facility enough! We just came back from an amazing and very relaxing holiday. Everything was very well managed (thanks Ilias) and all the members of the staff were lovely and always ready to help you when you need (everybody speaks a high-level English so it was very easy to communicate). Food tastes so good, you can tell it’s 100% homemade and healthy (full buffet breakfast and a set menu for dinner different every day). Amazing selection of wines and coffee at the pool bar. The environment is quiet, a great place for couples that wants to stay away from touristic and crowded places. We will come back for sure!

The people working at Momi Slow Living are a true joy to be around. This team is made up of the most heartwarming, kind individuals who do their best to make sure you’re enjoying your stay. This hotel is amazing! Great infrastructure, the rooms are beautiful and clean! All the staff extremely nice and welcoming, from reception, bars, restaurants, trainers, cleaning staff, everyone! Amazing clean pools, comfortable sunning beds, the beach is clean, everything top notch! The service and food at breakfast and dinner amazing! They even have the app to plan and organise your stay in more easy and efficient way! Loved it! The best stay in Greece for sure! And a big plus, they are kind to local cats! Offer them water and food in designated areas!

    Quiet and relaxing place, not overcrowded in the streets or on the beach. Close by to other towns with more stores and restaurants. Unfortunately, no public transport to talk about so you need to really on a taxi or rent a car.

    My family and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Anissaras, Crete, and it was an absolutely enchanting experience. This hidden gem on the northern coast of Crete boasts pristine beaches, stunning landscapes, and an authentic Cretan charm that left us captivated. The crystal-clear waters and powdery sands of Anissaras Beach offered the perfect setting for a relaxing day with the family. Our children thoroughly enjoyed splashing in the gentle waves, while my spouse and I relished the opportunity to soak up the Mediterranean sun and admire the breathtaking views. Exploring the charming village of Anissaras was a delightful experience, as we wandered the winding streets, discovering local shops and tavernas offering delicious Cretan cuisine. The warm and welcoming nature of the locals added a special touch to our stay, making us feel right at home in this picturesque corner of Crete. The surrounding area of Anissaras also offered numerous opportunities for outdoor adventures. We ventured out on a family hike through the nearby hills, marveling at the diverse flora and fauna unique to the region. The panoramic views from the higher vantage points were simply awe-inspiring. In conclusion, our trip to Anissaras, Crete, was a magical family experience that we will treasure for years to come. The idyllic beaches, friendly locals, and stunning natural beauty made it a perfect destination for creating lasting memories. We wholeheartedly recommend Anissaras for a truly unforgettable Cretan adventure.
