We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were amazing. We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 5 people and it had alot of room. For such a busy and popular hotel it was so clean. Rooms were cleaned everyday and has a huge selection of food in the all inclusive. The walk to the town was only 2 minutes

Perfect Stay by the Beach – Thanks to Maria! We stayed at Ostrakon Suites in Agia Marina for a week in July and loved it. The room was large, very clean, and had everything we needed – plus a stunning view over the beach, which is just steps away. What truly made our stay special was Maria. She was incredibly helpful and kind, giving us all the information we needed about restaurants, sights, car rentals, and activities. The cleaning lady was also lovely and kept our room spotless. Breakfast was at Me Gusta restaurant, they offered breakfast and also served fantastic and very delicious food with a stunning view. For breakfast, we could choose from three options, and we went with the European breakfast. While it was tasty, I would have preferred a buffet to have more variety during the week – especially to try some Greek breakfast options. The best part of the hotel is Maria. If she’s still there, I know exactly where I’ll stay next time I visit Agia Marina. Highly recommend!

We treated ourselves to a room with a private pool, and it was worth every penny. The room was immaculate, featuring modern amenities and a comfortable bed. Having our own pool allowed for intimate moments and uninterrupted relaxation. The hotel's serene atmosphere made it the perfect romantic retreat.

Our stay was fantastic! We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a better room, which was absolutely amazing. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The staff were always helpful and welcoming. The hotel has so many pools, including a dedicated one for children, which is perfect for families. The breakfast and dinner options were wide and delicious, and the views from both the rooms and the dining area were simply stunning. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay!

    It's a touristy strip of land with amazing beaches and...

    It's a touristy strip of land with amazing beaches and fantastic taverna-style restaurants. Beaches are public but we suggest picking a beachfront hotel and grabbing a sun lounger. Some beach bars have all day music, other parts are quieter so there's something for everyone. We stuck to the beach and had a really lovely time. Restaurants recommendations include: Koupes - we ate there nearly every other day. The food is incredible and the baklava is not only the best I've had, but is genuinely made by the owner's mother! Kosmos - delicious baked feta and lamb, and the best tzatziki. They have a kids playground if you have children, and there are also cats and kittens looking hopeful. Petra Family Restaurant - the mixed grill is incredible and enough for at least three people. The 'beef burgers' (more like flattened meatballs) are absolutely delicious.

    Agia Marina is a great area for daytime beach clubs. I would recommend taking the bus at night to the port (Limani) for better food selection, more authentic bars and lounges, and overall social feel. Agia Marina is a good daytime spot and good place to stay in a hotel.

    Most beautiful restaurants I have seen gathered in one location. Wonderful beach, a bit shallow but fun, even when there are waves. Just be reasonable and heed the lifeguards. Great selection of supermarkets with everything you need

    I love Agia Marina.

    I love Agia Marina. It has the longest beach with sandy shore where one can walk along and/or swim in the beautiful sea. There are ton of restaurants for every palate and B&B or hotels. It is one of my most favorite places to go for vacation.

    A wonderful beach with several beach bars with sunloungers...

    A wonderful beach with several beach bars with sunloungers and umbrellas for hire or for free if you have meals there. The main road can be busy but never felt unsafe, with a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all budgets. A very regular bus service to Chania was a pleasant surprise and should be on everyone's itinerary.

    We have stayed in Agia Marina five or six times over the...

    We have stayed in Agia Marina five or six times over the years and it was the first place we visited in Crete over twenty years ago. Although we like to think that we do not return to places and have travelled the world, we have been to Crete at least fourteen times and have gravitated towards Agia Marina. Now in our late 70's, we are comfortable in the knowledge that it is a safe place to holiday, with a good range of accommodation, a predictable climate for the most part, some good restaurants and shops and the people are welcoming and friendly. It is also a short bus ride or taxi (about 8 miles) from Chania, for a change of scenery, a fantastic Venetian harbour and a good range of shops and restaurants.

    Elia Resort is a perfect stay in Agia Marina just next to the beach with a wonderful see view rooms. The room was very spacious and clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and with many choices; it was a very wide buffet spread. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns.

    Location was excellent, only 30 mins drive from chania Airport and 20 mins from the old town The beach was literally across the road, and there were numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel had 2 good swimming pools and the breakfast was good The panoramic room was a good size with 2 tvs and a PlayStation Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Maria, at the front desk.

    The staff here were absolutely incredible especially Aggelos & Maria but nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff ⭐️. This hotel is in a great location and only a 20 mins bus journey to Chania for €2 per person. We also hired a car at a local shop & were able to travel to some amazing beaches along the south west coast.

    Amazing place. Two bedrooms, 3 beds. Great for families. Really close to the beach and all amenities. The host Anna was so nice and hospitable. She completely accommodated throughout our stay. We constantly had water (rare in Greece). There was also parking spots if you rent a car. Highly, Highly recommend!!
