Dimitsana is a typical beautiful mountain village with very narrow, steep cobblestone streets. Very picturesque! We loved the experience. I feel like one doesn’t have a full picture of Greece without a visit to a hill town like Dimitsana. Lovely, lively, intriguing. Drive respectfully or not at all. We appreciated the helpfulness of our host. He directed us to a hike that we wanted to make and helped facilitate transportation so we could be dropped off at one end and hike back to the village. We enjoyed a traditional breakfast both of the mornings we stayed at the guesthouse. Breakfasts were plentiful and with traditional Greek dishes. Attention of those who get to the hotel by car. There is no chance that Google Maps will lead you to the parking lot and to the hotel correctly. I would recommend leaving the car in the center of the village and walking to the hotel (it's a two-minute walk).
