Loved the lush green mountains. So picturesque! Amazing after coming from dry Thessaloniki and Athens. An author would have great inspiration to write a work of fiction. the walk along the river was gorgeous with the restaurants and coffee shops. There is also the 'market" where you can get fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and many household items, as well as clothing, every Wednesday and Saturday. So glad I got to go. Perfect location, quiet setting, nice staff, breakfast on demand, close to good coffee and pita cafes. The private parking space is really helpful.
