This place is absolutely charming. There are a number of small beaches right across from the village, many with a shower, changing cabin and umbrella. A picturesque old town that has maintained its character (unlike nearby places like Itea). There is not a lot to do; a couple of days would suffice for Galaxidi; however, you can use it to explore the area. For example the orqacle of Delphi is 30 mins away. Arachova is not far. Nafpaktos abotu 40 mins away. So Galaxidi is a great place to use as a base. In Galaxidi itself there are plenty of good restaurants and tavernas as well as bars and coffee places. This hotel is OK but the beds were not so comfortable. Otherwise it is clean and has all the amenities but is overall modest and basic. The owner is a friendly gentleman who greeted us.
