The apartment is cute, very tidy, and lovely. It's equipped with everything you need. Stunning beaches like Voulisma are literally next to the apartment - it's only a 1 minute drive. One can reach the city centre of Agios Nikolaos within 12 minutes by car. The hosts are great, friendly, attentive and were always there when we needed them. We had a great stay!

The apartment we rented was excelent. It's close enough (1 hour by car) to the Heraklion airport, and at a driveable distance (30 to 45 minutes by car) to many excelent beaches and small villages. We met our hostess Maria, which was really kind and made it feel like we were staying at a family apartment. We'll definitely come back if we ever come to Crete again.

Everything was great in this apartment. The location was very good, near 2 beaches. And with the distance of 15km there are many beautiful beaches. The apartment was cleaned every day. There are many goods restaurants near apartment. I would like to mention that the host was very hospitable. He took my husband to the hospital and help with communication there, he added many uplifting words to us. I fully recommend it.

An amazing accomodation surrounded by olive trees, within short walk or drive from the beautiful beaches of Lasithi. All units have something special to offer and feel very traditional, plus the tranquility of this place is really incredible. If you are lazy to trouble yourself to the beach, a small swimming pool is ready for use. Mr.Ioannis(the host) put his heart in this place as well and you feel incredibly welcome and at peace in his presence. He helped us with everything, so I believe any questions or request you have, will be answered. I can say only the positive about our stay and all negatives are meaningless...

I had the pleasure of staying at these wonderful apartments with my family for two weeks, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and at home. The apartment was impeccably clean and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the living area was perfect for relaxing together after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, offering easy access to all the local attractions while still being in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We particularly appreciated the beautiful views from the balcony and the convenience of nearby shops and restaurants. It was great to have everything within reach, especially with children. What truly set this accommodation apart, however, was the outstanding service from the owner. They were always available to answer any questions and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their genuine hospitality made our time here even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend these apartments to any family looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience – we look forward to returning in the future!

    Big sandy beaches. Good tavernas, we liked MeRaki. Istron is a "strip" of a village running along a main road. There are apartments and hotels up the hillside from the road, with not too much road noise. When rough you can hear the sea from your apartment. Apart from the beaches and eating places there is probably not too much else to do.

    Istro is a town stretching along the main street.

    Istro is a town stretching along the main street. It may not have any historical or super charming places but it has everything we needed: shops and restaurants, bistros, cafes and car rentals. It is based on tourists but not overloaded with them. You can meet locals drinking coffee or eating in the evenings (we recommend ΚΑΦΕΝΕΙΟ ΝΙΚΟΣ).

    v nice family run hotel good size good design V nice room with sea view well maintained, good room and common area cleaning nice pool, good private beach - not crowed private parking good quite location will visit again and would recommend we had hire car, travel eastern side of the island and visited several of the other hotel options, we were pleased we booked Istron Bay.

    Istron itself is a small town with some conveniences like...

    Istron itself is a small town with some conveniences like ATM, tavernas etc. We stayed there not because we wanted to be in this particular town but because of the access it gave is to the surrounding area. With a car we could easily reach many beautiful beaches, ancient villages in the mountains, Ag Nicholas for history, churches etc. and some genuine Greek restaurants, mainly in villages. It is a good central point for many things that interest us.

    Istron is one of many small towns, on the main road between Agios Nicolaos and Sitia.there are lovely beaches, tavernas and small supermarkets for all your needs Try eating at Mama Loutros, you will ot be disappointed!

    Istron is a lovely place to stay with fantastic beaches and very friendly people. It is not an overly lively resort but has enough for older teens (Palace Bar was great and had lovely cocktails too and Friends had live music on some nights). It is also a great location to explore more of the island

    Istron Homes appts are perfect in everything, from location, proximity to the beautiful Voulisma beach, cleanness and comfort to the friendly and welcomming staff. We LOVED the view so much it was heart-breaking to leave. Would definitely choose the same host for our next visit to Crete.

    Anemone is a traditional greek houses complex, super cute, nice view and also very peaceful. The beach is 10 mins away by foot and Istro is full of cute restaurants, shops, bars. I really really recommend it. PS: the owner is super nice :)
