The stay at Volta's suite was exceptional. The host, Georgio, was amazing, welcomed us while explaining the apartment and recommending restaurants. He was smiling and kind, helped us carry our luggage to the suite. The rest of the staff was also always willing to help and advise. The suite itself was fragrant and clean, equipped with everything needed for a stay of several days, towels are changed and rooms are cleaned during the stay. Breakfast is ordered to the room via an app, choosing from a variety of options. We enjoyed the jacuzzi that was part of the room, the wonderful pool, and the fitness corner. Georgio went above and beyond when, before leaving, he came to our room with a very respectable 'farewell gift'. We travel a lot in the world. This is the first time we have encountered such kindness and generosity. A highly recommended place to stay. There is no doubt that if we return to Crete, this will be the place we will stay! Thank you for everything!

Had a lovely 6 night break as a solo traveller at Avena Suites. Rooms were very comfortable clean and modern and hosts were genuine helpful and friendly people. Overall great value for money and I highly recommend. Will definitely return !

Great location, close to one beach (350 m), 15 min walk from the city centre and other beaches, with a very nice taverna just across the street. Very nice breakfast, sweet and savory options, freshly made every morning according to the preferences expressed the day before, and brought to the room. The hosts (brother and sister) are incredibly nice, very accommodating, available at all hours, and ready to help with whatever the guests may need. They can arrange also transportation from and to the airport, at a fair price, in luxury conditions. As I had a very late flight, they were super nice and kept my luggage after check-out, and allowed me to use a bathroom/ shower before leaving for the airport, so I was able to enjoy a full last day at the beach, with no worries about luggage or showering, or changing before I left. The accommodation is brand new, and spotless clean. One of the cleanest I`ve ever seen. Large room, vary nice bathroom (with shower), one of the best beds I have ever slept in (great mattress). My room had an full glass door and view directly to the pool, so that was very nice. They have various size rooms/ apartments, so they can accommodate single travelers and larger groups. Wifi works perfectly, there is air condition in the room, a kitchenette and a small refrigerator. Smart TV, ironing board and flatiron available in the room, a very good blow dryer (professional quality), toiletries and various articles provided. Whatever you need, Maria and her brother are there for you. I will definitely come back, with a larger group of friends. ONe of the best holiday experiences I have ever had!

Our stay at Angel’s Villa in Kato Gouves was truly wonderful. We were a group of five, and the villa offered all the space and modern comforts we needed for a fantastic holiday. From the moment we arrived, host Agata was incredibly attentive—always just a message away and genuinely caring about our comfort. To welcome us, she left lovely gifts: a bottle of wine, sweets, and snacks. It was such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel at home. The villa itself is beautifully renovated—sleek, stylish, and meticulously clean. We loved the modern interior and quality finishes throughout. The large courtyard is a standout feature: furnished with sun loungers, a spacious terrace, and a BBQ—ideal for relaxing with drinks, enjoying shade or sun, and having evening meals outside. Inside, everything was perfect: a well-equipped kitchen, cozy living space, strong Wi‑Fi, and comfortable bedrooms. There were absolutely no issues during our stay. The location is excellent—quiet and peaceful, yet only meters from shops, restaurants, and a beautiful sandy beach. Agata’s constant availability and caring attitude made our experience even better. All in all, Angel’s Villa gave us a memorable, comfortable, and stylish holiday in Crete. Thank you, Agata—for your warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. We can’t wait to return!

I was happy to be warmly greeted by Miropi very late in the evening after our flight. She was very helpful during our stay by providing all the minor necessities for the house, helping us find things to do on the island and helped getting around also :) The house itself was also amazing - clean and tidy. Both bedrooms have air conditioners which helped us to survive the heatwave (especially at night time). Bare in mind though, that the 2nd floor bedroom does not have an AC. But the terrasse on the 2nd floor is amazing - you could see both the sea and the mountains. And the 1st floor balcony was also good - it was mostly in the shade and we could have our breakfast and lunches there without being exposed to the hot sun. On the territory of the villa we had a spacious parking place (could fit 2-3 cars freely). Also, we could use the outside grill for cooking fish and burgers, which we also enjoyed :)

Lovely hotel, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Location within 5 minutes of the beach and shops. Pool was clean and modern, never had a problem getting a sunbed in early August. I'd definitely go back.

We spent 3 nights in apartment no. 2 and we were very happy with our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful large terrace – perfect for relaxing. The area is peaceful, yet everything is close by. A big plus was the great little restaurant right under the apartment – delicious food, no need to go far. The price was very attractive for the quality. We had everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay – we’d gladly come back!

Good choice for a summer stay, at a very convenient spot near the main street and within 10 walking minutes from the beach. The small kitchen makes it possible to prepare basic meals if interested. Comfortable double bed. Maria was an exceptional host, always available to help with the necessary housekeeping.

    Very nice holiday town, with options to spend the evening, by no loud clubbing. Nice evening life. The town lise along the seashore, so it makes for amazing long walks at sunset or sunrise. Locals are super friendly, prices are fair, many people but not over-crowded. Very nice family taverns, great food. Many runners, so it`s a welcoming spot for early risers. I was traveling alone and felt super safe the entire time. Great options to book trips to other parts of the island, I was super happy with the offers and availability.

    Small place with shops and restaurants, easy access to beach. There is a bus which takes you to Heraklion in 30 minutes. By taxi it is maybe 20 minutes pretty convenient from the airport. Walking around is easy and you can get to the Aquarium which is fun for kids.

    A lovely small resort with just a nice amount of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. it is a great central location for the airport and if you want to venture out further around the island, it is close to the main E75 and E90 routes. You are directly under the airport landing route but it wasn't a major factor or didn't detract from our great experience.
