We made a great choice booking the Volta to be our first hub for exploring the Crete. Near the airport, so not to much traveling after the flight. The pool was amazing, feels like a private pool since only a few people are at the same time at the pool area. Outdoor gym was great, with a lot of equipment. The hosts are welcome and warm, gave us a nice gifts at departure. Great value for money, will come back for sure!

Our stay at Angel’s Villa in Kato Gouves was truly wonderful. We were a group of five, and the villa offered all the space and modern comforts we needed for a fantastic holiday. From the moment we arrived, host Agata was incredibly attentive—always just a message away and genuinely caring about our comfort. To welcome us, she left lovely gifts: a bottle of wine, sweets, and snacks. It was such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel at home. The villa itself is beautifully renovated—sleek, stylish, and meticulously clean. We loved the modern interior and quality finishes throughout. The large courtyard is a standout feature: furnished with sun loungers, a spacious terrace, and a BBQ—ideal for relaxing with drinks, enjoying shade or sun, and having evening meals outside. Inside, everything was perfect: a well-equipped kitchen, cozy living space, strong Wi‑Fi, and comfortable bedrooms. There were absolutely no issues during our stay. The location is excellent—quiet and peaceful, yet only meters from shops, restaurants, and a beautiful sandy beach. Agata’s constant availability and caring attitude made our experience even better. All in all, Angel’s Villa gave us a memorable, comfortable, and stylish holiday in Crete. Thank you, Agata—for your warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. We can’t wait to return!

It's a spacious apartment with amazing view, close to restaurants, bus stop and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. The location is close to many attraction sites for us as a family like the aquarium and watercity. The air conditioners cool the bedrooms perfectly and overall the apartment has almost all the facilities. The hosts are really nice and friendly. They accepted early check-in with a short notice. They offered us fresh sweet figs from their garden in addition to welcome drinks and water bottle in the fridge. We enjoyed watching the stars and the clear sky at night from the roof . Highly recommended 👌

Lovely hotel, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Location within 5 minutes of the beach and shops. Pool was clean and modern, never had a problem getting a sunbed in early August. I'd definitely go back.

Good choice for a summer stay, at a very convenient spot near the main street and within 10 walking minutes from the beach. The small kitchen makes it possible to prepare basic meals if interested. The place was absolutely stunning. My wife and I booked this place for our honeymoon, and that did not disappoint in any way. Everything from the location, to the people owning the place everything was perfect. Really modern and very luxurious place which was a few meters away from the beautiful water. The rooms were beautiful and very nice, everything was clean and worked. We were very happy with our own private pool and terrace, which was cleaned every day! The owners of this place is a very lovely and warm family, who makes sure every need you ask them are met! They are happy to talk, give you a good place to visit or even ask if there is anything that they could help with. They also have a family restaurant, which is very classy and has various dishes where you can enjoy your meal right by the ocean. And we were also welcomed warmly by the restaurant! Overall 10/10 experience, I would definitely suggest this place if you are looking for a private stay, where all your needs are met. Where rooms are equipped with everything you need.

    Very nice holiday town, with options to spend the evening, by no loud clubbing. Nice evening life. The town lise along the seashore, so it makes for amazing long walks at sunset or sunrise. Locals are super friendly, prices are fair, many people but not over-crowded. Very nice family taverns, great food. Many runners, so it`s a welcoming spot for early risers. I was traveling alone and felt super safe the entire time. Great options to book trips to other parts of the island, I was super happy with the offers and availability.

    Small place with shops and restaurants, easy access to beach...

    Small place with shops and restaurants, easy access to beach. There is a bus which takes you to Heraklion in 30 minutes. By taxi it is maybe 20 minutes pretty convenient from the airport. Walking around is easy and you can get to the Aquarium which is fun for kids.

    A lovely small resort with just a nice amount of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. it is a great central location for the airport and if you want to venture out further around the island, it is close to the main E75 and E90 routes. You are directly under the airport landing route but it wasn't a major factor or didn't detract from our great experience.
