It's really sweet and hidden away. The welcome pack was brilliant, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and lemons. Wine and water in the fridge. Complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Tea, coffee and sugar. The A/C was also brilliant. Lovely cool wet room.

The house is more than a house, it is a home which is glad to welcome its visitors. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable and inviting. The house has 2 terraces and a balcony, practically one for each room. In the morning you can hear roosters singing outside. The living room is very cozy. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and the washing machine in the bathroom is a spoil. The air conditioners (each room has individual air conditioners) are more than enough, providing the perfect temperature. Regina and Kostas, the owners, are great people who make you feel part of the family. Moreover, the suggestions for the visits, the beaches and the contacts provided are so very welcomed. We've been to many places in Greece but this is by far the best. I LOVE HOUSE KOCHYLI!

Cozy and nice place to stay for a week or two. The villa has a huge terrace to spend evenings. The host have a style and you can feel friendly welcome. The villa is near the road, but it strangely enough you won't feel it. Beds were very comfortable. We stayed for two nights but wish it could be a week

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place for several reasons: 1. The location is perfect, making it very convenient to visit the best beaches and Argostoli, 2. The landscape and horticulture are beautiful, 3. We appreciated the fresh vegetables, grapes, and other products from the Trapezaki garden family production, 4. The pool was perfectly clean, 5. The view of the surrounding landscape and sea was incredible, 6. Amanda was a wonderful host; communication was very smooth, and we received a lot of helpful suggestions for visits and other useful information. Once again, thanks to Amanda and the whole family for a wonderful holiday!

The little house is very cozy and welcoming! It is situated in a quiet village and very well placed regarding the distances to the beaches in this part of the island and taverns. The owner, Elena, is very warm and helpful; after 3 days of staying we received fresh towels, shits and they cleaned into the house (we never had this type of facility when booking a house at this price, so it was a nice surprise), the yard was constantly kept tidy. We will definitely choose it again when we return to Kefalonia!

    Some amazing views throughout the island and all restaurants we visited had a variety of lovely food. We went to some of the more touristy locations, but didn’t have too bad queues, and they were generally worth the hype. The viewpoint overlooking Myrtos beach was a highlight, as was visiting Melissani Caves and having lunch in Assoss. We also drove to the top of Mount Ainos, which was exciting in our rental car and had epic views the whole way.

    Kefalonia is our favourite Greek island and we simply cannot...

    Kefalonia is our favourite Greek island and we simply cannot holiday anywhere else! The airport is low key, welcoming and efficient. Easy to get to any other part of the island from there. Plenty of pre-bookable hire car companies on site and within a few minutes' walk from the airport too. Stay south if you like sandy beaches or, like us, go north if you prefer white stone and shingle and the crystal clear Ionian water that comes with it! Kefalonia offers a bit of everything so perfect for those yearning for peace and tranquility as well as lively resorts who want more to do. Not sure if it's good for partying or clubbing though. Best to do your research. Book a sailing trip or ferry to Ithica to follow in Odesseus' footsteps, this is a must and you will come away with precious memories to last a lifetime.

    It's a beautiful Island rich with greenery and flowers. Extremely clean Very polite people. Lovely houses and beautiful Villas. Great beaches. An island that is not over crowded or commercialised like some of the other Greek Islands!! No fake/copies of designer clothes/bags/watches!! Pretty shops/boutiques and lovely cafes/bars and restaurants. Nice to see that the locals care so much about their island.

    A simply perfect destination - I traveled in Thailand and the East and all kinds of islands in Greece and Western Europe and it was simply a trip that exceeded all expectations - a combination of all the places and views taken from Thailand is simply perfect

    Kefalonia is peaceful and unspoilt.

    Kefalonia is peaceful and unspoilt. It is not packed with tourists and the pace of life is leisurely, great for a relaxing break. We enjoyed it so much in June we went back in September. The people are friendly and helpful and the views of the mountains and see are lovely no matter where you are on the island. If you a looking for noisy night life this is not the place for you but if you want to relax and unwind then this is the place to go.

    We first came to Kefalonia, last year, considering we NEVER go anywhere twice, we came back, the people on this island are lovely and very helpful, English is spoken everywhere, they will try to help if they can. The food is fantastic and a lot of choice, seafood, meat, vegetables etc., all very fresh. Local wine is very nice (Robalo) and of course Mythos beer ! And yes I think we would go back again.
