The hotel has a beautiful view to Kamari Bay, a short (about 10 mins) walk to the closest beach. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and we received a great service all around.

We loved everything about this stay! We spent a week here at the end of July and it was simply perfect. The house has every comfort you could need, it’s very clean and furnished in a modern style. There’s also a huge patio outside, which was amazing. The location is really strategic: it’s in an elevated area, quiet and isolated, so you definitely need a car to get around, but it’s great because it’s close to all the most beautiful beaches of Kos, including Paradise Beach which is only a 5-minute drive away. The property is family-run and we enjoyed both their private beach club — which was wonderful, as the beach is not touristy and never crowded, making it perfect for relaxing — and their restaurant, where the food was truly excellent and of very high quality. One of the best parts of our trip was definitely the staff: we felt so warmly welcomed, and they were always ready to help us with anything we needed. Highly recommended, we would definitely come back!

A corner of paradise, from the apartment you can enjoy a beautiful view of the bay, inside of a natural reserve. The location was great and you can enjoy the sunset in the Aegian sea, just a minute walk down to the local fish restaurant where we had amazing lunch & dinner , and Limnionas beach. The welcome gifts in the mini fridge were very appreciated! Relaxing and peaceful stay , see you next time !

House is new, furniture are new, very new that even the price tags are still on them :) Host is very friendly woman, she offered cold water and apple juice for our son. Location is very close to city center, we have rented a car and drove there, there is a little bit of slope and bumps along the way but easy to navigate and park.

The view of the house is amazing. The owner of the house is a very cheerful woman and she tried to help us to have a wonderful holiday. The apartment is excellent, located in a new building. From the balcony, you get a partial sea view along with a beautiful landscape. The kitchen is very well equipped, and I especially appreciated the many small amenities that are often missing elsewhere, such as salt, kitchen bags, soap, kitchen foil, and even mosquito repellent. The owner was also very helpful and responsive in communication.

Our experience at Anthos Residence 1 was simply perfect. The apartment is new, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped with everything you might need – even beach towels were provided! The location is ideal, in the part of the island with the most stunning beaches. The hosts were absolutely delightful – they welcomed us with fresh fruit and cold water, and on our departure, they even gifted us a bottle of their own olive oil. We will never forget their kindness and warm hospitality. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

    Kefalos is great if you want the quieter holiday.

    Kefalos is great if you want the quieter holiday. There is always a breeze so very popular for windsurfing but the days are long and hot with sunshine for about 13 hours so you will appreciate it. There are loads of places to rent cars, quads etc and the island is small so give it a try.

    It’s a quieter beach with a relaxed and laid back feel. Some tavernas along the waterfront. Lots of dubbed available and not crowded during my visit in mid August. Supermarkets nearby. Bus is regular between Kos town, and Kefalos every couple of hours during summer. Hire cars available.

    Kefalos is nice, quiet place to stay if you are looking for relax and water activities (swimming, wind-surfinfing...). Kefalos village offers a great view over the island. Quite good connection wit other beaches, Kos town or airport by bus.

    Kefalos is very run down. Lots of derelict buildings. Almost empty in October even though it was still good weather. Most restaurants closed - the few that were open were good enough - stick with the fish - octopus quite tough and chicken kebabs awful

    A short drive from the airport Kefalos offers a lot. There are many lovely beaches, boat trips and other activities. We ate very well. If you like to cook it’s a bit tricky to find local meat and fish. We did find the butcher in the town who was incredibly helpful although we never did get the goat we wanted. Finding fish proved impossible- even going to the harbour at 7am on one occasion. The local winery does a very good tasting.

    Kefalos is a wonderful destination for a quiet, relaxing and sun-filled holiday. There is a great selection of restaurants, all serving delicious and very reasonably priced food. The beaches are lovely, although not all sandy. I stayed at Bill & Mike apartments and would highly recommend it. The location is very quiet and peaceful, but not too far from the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. Bill, and his wife Eva were perfect hosts. They are both so very kind and welcoming. They made me feel like family. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. No pool or restaurant but both were available at Bill's brother's complex, just a minute's walk away. I would happily return to Bill and Mike and recommend it to family & friends.

    Incredible hospitality, the manager/receptionist was very helpful in every question we had. She is a local and knew exactly where to point us and what to recommend. Location cannot be beaten. The hotel is right on a perfect, quiet, almost empty beach even in high season. Water is perfect, clear, and offers beautiful views. If you are looking for the perfect, relaxing stay with access to the more remote parts of Kos, look no further.

    Nikki and her daughter Thalia were exceptional hosts—kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.Everything feels well thought-out, making the stay both comfortable and relaxing. The beach and sea have their own magic, and the location is perfect for enjoying Kefalos, which in my opinion offers a more authentic and peaceful experience than Kos Town.

    Small friendly hotel 5 minute walk from the beach and local restaurants and bars. Peter the owner is very helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean, cleaned every day except Sunday during our stay including clean towels. Beds very comfortable, air conditioning fantastic. Bathrooms modern with hot water at any time of day.

    The staff were all welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was superb! They also helped us find a car and gave us some advice on what to do on the island. If you ask, they'll also tell you were to find a path to a secret beach below the hotel.
