Our stay at this hotel was truly enchanting! Set romantically on the hillside of Elati, it offers a spectacular view over the surrounding villages of Zagori and the mountain range – a scene straight out of a fairytale. The location is perfect for exploring the area, making the hotel an ideal base to discover the beautiful region. The rooms are cozy, equipped with everything you need, and the daily cleaning keeps everything neat and fresh. The owners' warm hospitality made our experience even better – spending evenings chatting by the fireplace in the lounge with them was a highlight for us. The breakfast was another delight: plentiful, varied, and featuring delicious homemade pies and pastries that change daily. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience an unforgettable time in Zagori.

A lovely experience at the Meliteion. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. The room is really comfortable and decorated in warm and relaxing tones. I arrived late afternoon and got great advice to hike up to the highest point in the village and watch the sun set over the mountains. Stunning. Great breakfast! Thank you, I will return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Katikia Zagori, a small and newish guest house in Vitsa, nestled in the heart of the Greek mountains within the Vikos-Aoos National Park. This hidden gem is a true paradise for nature lovers, offering proximity to the magnificent Vikos Gorge and an array of wonderful walking areas. The service was exceptional, from the warm welcome we received upon arrival, to the genuine hospitality and eagerness to assist, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room's design, blending contemporary style with traditional elements that reflected the local culture. The village, though small, boasted a handful of excellent restaurants showcasing the best of local flavors and ingredients. One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to the awe-inspiring Vikos Gorge. Just a short drive away, we were able to embark on unforgettable hikes in the pristine natural beauty of the area. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable about the local trails and provided helpful recommendations, ensuring we made the most of our time there. Having a car was necessary for travel, allowing us the freedom to explore the surrounding area at our own pace. We were able to visit nearby attractions, charming villages, and picturesque viewpoints, all within a short distance from the hotel. The scenic drives through the Greek mountains were an adventure in themselves, offering breathtaking vistas. In conclusion, our three-night stay at this boutique hotel was an absolute delight. The exceptional service, combined with the hotel's perfect location within a National Park and its proximity to the majestic Vikos Gorge, created an experience that surpassed all expectations. Kipoi is a very quaint little village with 2-3 restaurants...

Kipoi is a very quaint little village with 2-3 restaurants and thats it. It was easily accessible to the Zagori region close to the most famous bridges and main towns and the unbelievable Vikos Gorge which you have to visit, we went to the Óxya viewpoint which was amazing . A very beautiful area to visit but a very long drive from Athens especially if you come on one of the smaller roads, rather use the highway to get to the area then adventure around, we took a small road and spent half a day driving through forests with nothing to see. The map of Zagori that the hotel gave us was a great help Monodendri is one of the larger villages worth visiting - if you like to hike take your time and follow the tails that range from 1 to 5 or so km from the various bridges it is so peaceful and the forest beautiful. Once you have seen the top 5-6 bridges and 2-3 villages it all becomes the same so don't stay too long if you aren't walking. Beware...... not all villages have fuel so don't run too low

Very lovely place. Beautiful mountain view. The owner and staff were very kind and helpfull with every question we had. there is a climb to the room, like every hotel in the mountains area. The place and rooms are spotless clean. There is a small and very usefull store few minutes walk in the village nearby, and also a restaurant. We had a great time.
