From the very beginning, we felt welcomed. The staff throughout, from the managers, reception staff to the room cleaning staff and breakfast staff, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, always with a smile, they all understood and responded to our needs. A huge THANK YOU to both Bakos owners who made our stay a dream! The excellent breakfast was a plus and I was particularly spoiled with a great Greek coffee! We will definitely book again and we will be happy to recommend to anyone who is looking for a great escape to the sea, not far from Athens.

We originally booked the hotel for 3 nights but loved it so much we stayed an extra three nights then, after travelling to Xylocastro and Nafpaktos for a couple of weeks we returned to Loutraki to stay in Hotel Excelsior for our last few days. We stayed firstly in a seaview room which was excellent, then in a family room which was even better. On our way home we treated ourselves to the suite which gave us lots of space. Every room was immaculately clean and we loved the fact that furniture was of the more traditional style.We absoutely loved every minute of our stay in this hotel which was our favourite in the entire trip. The staff were outstanding making us feel very much at home. Every single person from everone on the reception desk, the lady at breakfast, the ladies who clean the rooms and the lovely lady who acted as night porter were all fabulous. They were professional but relaxed , the perfect combination. Always ready to help and seemed happy in their jobs.We loved them all and were very sad to leave but we will be back.

The hotel is excellent. The staff are very attentive — in the restaurant, at the reception, and on the beach. I recommend booking a room with a sea view. Room cleaning is outstanding. The food is exceptionally delicious. The rooms are equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, and fridge. Fresh coffee and tea are provided daily. The reception staff helped with booking excursions, calling taxis, and responded to any requests.

    Loutraki is a nice place for relaxation and pampering. You could swim at Loutraki beach. Be aware that the beach has big pebbles. It is more comfortable to have water shoes with you. In addition, you could pamper yourself at Loutraki thermal spa. At the beach road, there are many different restaurants, taverns, cafeterias for every pocket.

    All the restauratns seemed to be family owned and once you speak with the staff you can determine, their service was more special than anywhere else. People of Loutraki very friendly like most of Greece, and needed more time than two nights to explore.

    Lots of great restaurants.

    Lots of great restaurants. July/August is very crowded so try to avoid these months. If you want to swim, make sure you pack rubber shoes to get you over the rocks and gravel. They do sell them locally so a must buy.

    Loutraki was amazing. Everyone was super kind and nice.

    Loutraki was amazing. Everyone was super kind and nice. Almost everyone could speak some type of english so communication wasn't a problem. Quite safe. A bit far from the airport but transportation was easy and cheap. Would advice to rent a scooter or car if you plan on going places because the it's many buses to take you to other places around the city.

    Loutraki is a seaside location about one hours drive south of Athens and only a short drive from the famous Corinth Canal. It is a great spot to unwind with crystal clear beaches and a magnificent mountain backdrop. Loutraki has many restaurants and cafes, both waterfront and on the main strip which will cater for all your culinery needs. There are paid sunbeds with umbrellas but also plenty of room to set up your own umbrella and chairs to enjoy your day at the beach. The Casino is only a short walk for those who feel lucky.

    My family and I recently had the privilege of staying at this wonderful hotel, and we were so impressed that I couldn't wait to share our experience. We are a family with a 7-month-old baby, and our stay was absolutely perfect. First and foremost, the hotel staff deserves a standing ovation for their exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their professionalism and friendliness made our stay truly memorable. Our room was a spacious haven with a breathtaking sea view that greeted us every morning. The sight and sound of the sea were simply mesmerizing. What made our stay even more special was the thoughtfully provided spacious room for our baby. It ensured a peaceful night's sleep for all of us and showed the hotel's commitment to guest comfort. In summary, our stay was nothing short of perfection. This hotel has set the bar high when it comes to hospitality, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a family-friendly, luxurious, and unforgettable experience, this is the place to be. Thank you to the manager and his entire team for making our stay so special.     Excellent Hosts—the ladies at the reception!!! They are very professional, skilled, and extremely kind. I have had some problems with booking.com, but the Ladies have done everything to assist me and have solved my problem. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel's location is great—in the center of Lutraki, surrounded by many shops and great restaurants along the coast. I fully recommend this Hotel.

    Perfect location just next to the long beach of Loutraki, enjoying walks and uncountable options in cafes and restaurants. Huge space in all rooms, very clean and full of amenities, so you can feel like home. Also pet friendly. Giorgos, the host, is just great. My only choice if and when back in the region. Amazing value for money.

    The sea is stunning, but it's filled with stones and rocks, so it's essential to have non-slip shoes and be cautious because some of the rocks are sharp. The pool is beautiful, spacious, and filled with saltwater.The location is just a few kilometers away from Loutraki, but it's right by the sea with a stunning mountain view.
