Mithimna is old name for Molivos. They call now Molivos. Molivos is a nice small village on the north east side of the island. It is very popular among Turks, English, Dutch, German. There are nice souvenior, juwelery shops. I think Molivos provides the highest quality on Island. The restaurants on the harbour are very good. Lots of tavernas and bars both on the harbour and in the town. There are several small supermarkets which stock a big variety, but don't think Waitrose. We liked the Tropicana platanos taverna, the seahorse hotel (to eat) and the bakery. On the negative side you will leave Molivos fitter than when you arrived. A beautiful village packed with history and wonderful artists. Many beautiful shops to visit and fantastic restaurants serving many different types of food. Everyone was so friendly & welcoming. The room we stayed in was very clean, the bathroom smelled of bleach, the sheets smelled fresh, and the view was amazing. The room was also spacious enough for two people. There was even a small kitchenette in the room. Additionally, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly and had full coverage. As three adults, we felt very comfortable in a spacious room with three separate beds. The hosts were always smiling, helpful, and supported us in every way. Breakfast was wonderful, and the sweet black dog accompanied us – we loved it :) They even bid us farewell with small gifts. If I return to Molivos, I won’t look for another place to stay.
