It was another amazing stay at Koukounaria! We've enjoyed everything: the location is great, very close to beaches, restaurants and shops, the room was spacious, very clean, equipped with all the necessities, breakfast is one of the best we've had and the pool was amazing. The outdoor space was so well-furnished that it felt like a second living room — we ended up spending the whole day on the terrace. The pool water was a bit too cold to swim in, but just relaxing on the terrace was enough. We really appreciated that they provided not only a baby cot but also a high chair for our daughter. While there weren’t many restaurants nearby, The Old Windmill and Mikro Nisi were both delicious and absolutely fantastic!

We came (me and my mum) for a one week holiday to explore the island. We couldn’t have chosen better place to stay. The apartment was large, with a balcony and sea view, good equipment to cook for ourselves. The owner’s mum was in the area every morning (very pleasant and polite lady) making sure if we need anything or if everything is all right. Not to forget - free parking spot in front of the accommodation, few meters far from a shop, nice taverns around and great location to move from.

It was wonderful to be Soula’s first guests in this brand new apartment. It is a very spacious one bedroom apartment just off the main road but in a very quiet courtyard. There was no traffic noise at all and the view of the garden from the balcony and living room was lovely. Every thing worked perfectly from the washing machine to the shower to the air conditioning. Every request we made, Soula was right there to fulfill it. We really couldn’t have wished for a lovelier hostess. I would say that this property looked even better than the pictures. There are lots of restaurants and supermarkets very close by and it is an easy ten minute walk to the beaches. We had so many welcoming gifts like water, beer, milk and juice and even some wonderful home produced olive oil, it made us feel like proper guests rather than clients. Good luck with your future guests Soula you were the best!

SUPERB accomodation. The apartment was very spacious and providing a perfect feeling of relaxation. All the facilities are very good and functional, there is a harmonious mixture of modern with traditional that creates a good comfort. The balcony is as well very spacious and no words can describe having breakfast with a view to the whole sea in such morning light. Sunrise seen from the balcony is incredible. All the staff are SUPER friendly and kind and we are very thankful for that and making us feel at home. Will never forget. The location is the best someone can ask for, in just a few minutes walk there are some of the best beaches in Zakynthos (my favourite beaches actually) and a few minutes drive there are all shops and supermarkets in Alykes. The food in the taverna is delicious!!! Thank you so much for one of the best stays we ever had!!
