Pyrgos is a lovely traditional Greek village with very friendly locals. It gets busy at certain times when the cruise tours visit. A steep walk up to the castle & church is worth it for the amazing views. The little supermarket sells most things you would need. There are a couple of real highlights. First watch the sun go down from the top of the hill at Franco's. Second eat at Cava Alto. Manos gave us a plenty of good tips and he was always available to help, we’re very thankful as it was our first time visiting there. The house itself was convenient, really in centre of Santorini. They’re plenty of things happening around/in Pyrgos but still the location was hidden with the view of wineyard😍 Everything was there: fridge, pots, iron etc. We loved spending time on the terraces- we highly recommend it!
