Perfection! This was my second time and will return again . The fantasy of living in the middle of olive grove in Greek village distantly from top of the hill overlooking stretch of beach, is more attainable than you might think. Place itself features its own ornamental gardens by pool and dining area. One moment you catch yourself smelling lavender, other honeysuckle, hear buzzing bees. Dont be fooled by thinking of boredom, there are available hands on cooking class , olive oil and wine tasting clases . What could be better- to Cook in middle of greek garden 5 course meal with people around the world and later under olive tree enjoy this food. If you are ready for some coctails Michail by pool will whisk you best greek lavender sour or greek Spritz. No loud shows or dances at night time ( which is perfect by me) , but cinema . And if you have special movie in mind , just ask reception. Reception and all staff - you are so special! You all made my stay comfortable, safe and unforgetable. Thank you and see you soon , because returning to you place is like returning to family.

Amazing hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Always asking if we need something or if everything is okay. There was plenty of options at breakast, lunch and dinner and food quality was top notch! Rooms were clean and beautiful. Bed was great! Slept so well my whole stay there. Whole hotel had unique atmosphere and decor. Beach close in walking distance. We will be back here for sure!

People say not much there, but we felt it had everything there. Good supermarket, beach good as not spoiled by sun beds all over so you can actually see the beach. Several great bakeries and some good restaurants to choose from. Bus stop into city if needed.

Sfakaki is a nice area, a few tavernas with lovely food and great staff. Beach is about a 15 min walk. Supermarkets and coffee shop a short distance away. Regular bus into Rethymno. Options for day trips available.

So far the best interior apartment i stayed in Crete. Split level very nice decorated inside. Excellent even the patio with little shared garden and the little shared pool, good for refreshing. Full equipped kitchen even for long stays and the two toilets (one with shower). Perfect air con and shower outside for sand removing are the details i found more convenient. The beach is close (quite rocky the closest, but u have sandy nearby, as coffeshop and supermarket. Last plus is that host is super responsive.
