    a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking. Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.

    Extremely clear and warm waters!

    Extremely clear and warm waters! The island is generally green! Overall the location has everything you need, such as several restaurants and bars, however it does not have many bank services for withdrawing money!

    Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips...

    Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips in the past, last year we decided to stay at Skala for 3 nights. Our hotel at that time, although very good, was very near restaurants and bars which made it rather noisy. This year we stayed for 4 nights and opted for a guest house a little further away from the main area of Skala. Our choice proved most suitable to us. There are several hotels and guest houses. Skala has a wide range of restaurants, cafes & bars and those we visited based on web reviews proved to be very good. All restaurants have music (thankfully not all with loud volume). There is also a superb bakery, with a good barista service too! The main beach (sandy) is very pleasant. Frequent ferry service to nearby island of Aegina and port of Piraeus. As we were leaving in late June, it felt as if the island overall has become increasingly popular (it certainly does not appear to have affected the overall experience of the place) and anyone wishing for a more relaxed stay might prefer to visit during the shoulder season, then again that applies to most places!

    It is an ideal location for a quick escape from Athens as it is max just an hour and a half away from Athens. Even though it is small, it has everything you need. The prices are reasonable and it has a variety of things to enjoy. It is nice for all sorts of travelers! Young, old, families, couples, friends, you name it.

    Lovely walks and nice beaches.

    Lovely walks and nice beaches. Very quiet in April with many places not open. Would recommend hiring a bike to get around. Walked to main town which has a better supermarket and an excellent restaurant by the harbour. Enjoyed some good meals and sunsets. Not far from Aegina for a day trip.

    Skala, and Agistri as a whole, is a lovely place to visit.

    Skala, and Agistri as a whole, is a lovely place to visit. The views with mountains in the distance in almost every direction you look is amazing. There are plenty of restaurants with good food and shops to buy what you need. There's also a place called Agistri Go Rentals in Skala where you can rents bikes, ebikes, scooters, and most importantly three-wheeled electric scooters that you can rent even without a license with which you can easily go to the end of the island at Aponisos and back. Every beach has its own charm. And the view of Methana in the south is just amazing.

    The hotel is located at a great spot in Skala, where everything is close by. It's only a short walk from the port. The offered breakfast at the cafe below the hotel is amazing, the rooms albeit small, are very nice and clean (towels and sheets always smelled great!) and the staff is also very nice and helpful. A very good choice for both long stays or just the weekend. We asked to change rooms as our initial room was on the ground floor and the request was granted almost immediately. Definitely recommend!

    Hotel was in a very good location, close to the port in Skala. All the restaurants, bars, shops could be reached within a couple of minutes. Access to some beaches was easy (bear in mind that you may have to climb) The room was clean, quiet and had partial view from the generously sized balcony. The fridge in the room was very convenient. Staff were welcoming. For a 2* hotel, a find, and I would stay there again. Just some easy tweaks.

    - the staff was super friendly and welcoming - you literally almost fall into the sea when you leave the hotel and the hotel sun beds are clean and comfy - we can highly recommend booking one of the suites with a whirlpool. They are very modern and comfy at the same time - the boutique offers the highest quality clothes and jewellery we found on Agistri and the boutique lady was also very nice

    Our host Leia (hope I spell it correctly) was amazing, kind, helpful and hard working - making sure everything at the hotel was perfect. We felt most welcome! The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, clean and the location is stunning. We just had a really good time here, and we think it is a good value for money.
