Everything was exceptional! We went during off season and there was barely anyone at the hotel so they upgraded our room with a sea view. The breakfast was really good, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. Also, they provided a shuttle from the port to the hotel which was very helpful.

Location was great, downtown and easy to access. Soundproofing was good too, something important, since it’s right on the road. The owner, Nikos, was really nice and friendly, eager to make our accommodation as good as possible. Breakfast came in a little basket each morning. It was great to be in the pool and watch the boats come and go. All in all a wonderful experience, we’ll be back.

I loved everything in the hotel. the staff is amazing, very attentive. the best experience in Greece so far. it's right on the beach. The beach was amazing, clean, sandy, water was the cleanest. the hotel has a restaurant down, where the food is delicious and affordable. the lady from reception was very very nice, she made sure we were comfortable in every situation. The best part was that, after checkout, we needed to leave by ferry but the ferry was at night. we decided to stay on the beach, and the lady gave us a whole new spare room, to wash up and get ready for our departure (we didn't expect that coming), without any price added. we were very happy and delighted with that gesture. thank you <3 The place is full of locals, not a lot of tourists, and not too crowdy and noisy. The place is just perfect for a small peaceful vacation. Loved it. the accommodation is according to price, but we had quite a big room for 4 people. if you are looking for peace just go there, it's affordable and comfortable.

The host, Christof, is very friendly and helpful. The location is at a prime location, easy to move around the city, and the view from our balcony was excellent; we could see the Church of Nicholas from there. The room was very clean and tidy, with a very artistic design. The host also gave us good recommendations regarding restaurants, tourist attractions and taxi transfers, we really enjoyed our stay there. We have no trouble doing laundry in the premises (after our long journey in Europe); Christof is very helpful and understanding in this. We highly recommend this hotel. Helpful, polite English speaking stuff. Superb location just across the street from Galissas beach. The price is a little bit premium compared to other accommodations in the area, but it is deserved for great service and good breakfast options. The hotel has its own restaurant with huge plate sizes, a nice swimming pool, and private parking. There is no loud music at the nearby venues, and the tourist traffic here is comparably lower from the other locations on Syros, nice quiet place.

We had a wonderful time staying at Alma Syros. The location was perfect, so close to the main square. Maria was very warm and welcoming. She offered suggestions for restaurants and beaches to visit. We would definitely recommend Alma Syros and would stay there again.
