The room was truly upmarket and the moon-shaped balcony was spacious with a great side-on view of the foreshore and harbour. The set-out of the room was very neatly arranged with regard to space availability - but the typical "greek-style" shower was large with good fittings and that suited us well. Breakfast was more than we expected. I would rate the breakfast as supurb. Moreover the cappucino's were outstanding, despite having to pay a little extra for them - well worth it though. The location couldn't have been better for us - right on the foreshore. Perfect to board our yacht which was moored almost directly in front of the hotel.

People at the front counter were great, only stayed there one night so we didn’t meet too many of their staff, the blonde lady that checked us in was an absolute delight, great English, great personality, had a fun time checking in and speaking with her. Hotel is very modern and clean, appeared to be the best and most up to date hotel in all of Volos, very new and visually appealing. Rooms were quite spectacular, especially for such an affordable price, definitely recommend Magnes Hotel! Breakfast was also wonderful by the way!

The hosts were amazing (thank you for everything!). They were super friendly and very helpful. The hotel was always clean, and the breakfast was good too! The area is nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The beach is really nice too, with fine sand and beautiful blue water. All in all, it was a great experience. Definitely recommend it!

Me, I like a bit smaller hotels. Don1t like big. This one is just the right size. It has a proper parking too, what is exceptional for Volos. Room was nice, TV with all channels, on t5he 2nd floor we had no noise, even that is nosy area.

    A trip to the east coast of the peninsula is a must, thanks to passing and parking in beautiful villages built on the sides of the mountains, the road is in very good condition with twists and clear signage. A cruise along the remote beaches of the island with caves and refreshing swimming. The restaurant, whose name I don't remember from the caves, serves tourists and therefore charges an exorbitant price for a small fish and very poor and rather dismissive service.

    The water is clean and warm, and it's not crowded if you prefer a quiet and peaceful vacation. There are many beaches and places to visit, and nothing is far away. Villages in the hills are especially interesting, very picturesque with authentic architecture. The air is much fresher and not as hot as on the coast.

    We found Volos to be a very nice town.

    We found Volos to be a very nice town. It has good walks and a fine shopping centre. It is not crowded with tourists like some other places and there are so many restaurants and cafes. People are friendly and it was so nice to see a town that kept it's Greek characteristics. Unfortunately Volos doesn't have a good flight connection from Athens and we had to hire a taxi, a bit costly but it was quite pleasant to travel in a comfortable luxury vehicle with a very friendly driver.

    I was already been in Volos, couple of times but every time...

    I was already been in Volos, couple of times but every time I discover something new. As you already know, Volos is the main harbour in this part of Greece, so the main ferry departure starts from here for the Sporades islands. The bay of Volos is huge with some Islands inside. If you plan to sailing Sporades, consider that you will spent so much time to reach the Skiatos island, so we decided to catch the ferry and start our sailing week from Skiatos.

    Volos was beautiful lovely promenade restaurants. A working town but still beautiful Easy to get tge Dolphine or ferry too. Only there overnight. We were there to go to Meteora taxi driver Dimitris was soo helpful and polite if you want to go get a taxi not a coach trip

    We had a great stay in Volos! The location of the apartment is perfect—close to bakeries, restaurants, and everything you might need. The apartment itself is fully equipped, comfortable, and very clean. The owner was incredibly friendly and supportive. We had an issue with our car, and thanks to the owner and his helpful friend, we were able to fix the problem and continue our trip. We truly enjoyed our time in this lovely apartment and warmly recommend it to anyone traveling to Volos or exploring this beautiful part of Greece.

    Very clean, staff was attentive and polite! It was only one night stay on our trip to Syros, but it was comfortable. The hotel is in the central part of Volos on a short walk from everything that is worth to see. I recommend it if you want to stay for a night or two in Volos and to explore the central park and the nice restaurant around

    We had an amazing stay at Mario’s apartment! It was brand new and especially the terrace was nice, with a beautiful sunset. Shower was one of the best ones we had in greece. We would definitely come back here a second time! Mario was also very helpful with tips about the city and any questions we had regarding the apartment, great host!
