Host is the kindest person on the planet. The house is so well decorated you fill like in a fairy tale. I have no words enough for the hospitality I received. Thank you!!! It's also really close to the seaside, you can go on foot. One of the best places I've been to in Xerokampos, and I have been to several.

Everything was excellent. A large and tastefully decorated room with a nice balcony. Very clean and easy to accomodate 3 people. The taverna next to it is great and value for money. Very friendly owners.

The place is just perfect!!! The apartment is clean and with all the accessories. The Garden is really beatiful, silent, with hammocks and a fantastic view on Zacros bay. The location is very close to get the best beaches and Zacros gorge. The owner is so nice and helpful. A perfect place to relax

We can only agree with all other positive reviews abut this property, and especially hospitality of the hosts. All comfort that you need when quiet not overcrowded beach and excellent tavernas are just few steps down the hill. Several good hikes around the corner. Most romantic bench in front of your door. Sunrise from the sea (if you wake up early enough). Grapes just freshly cut. Do you need anything else?

Georgia is a great and very gentle, helpful host. The house, despite of its dimension, is well equipped with all what you need and is very clean; the bed is comfortable and sheets are the softest I ever met! A plus is the view from the patio, absolutely priceless at sun rise. Very recommended!!

Absolutely stunning location. Great apartment. Right opposite gorgeous beach. Worth having the apartment over the ordinary room. For the extra space. Amazing evening meal. Fabulous breakfast. Would stay again anytime. Don't miss this place it's our favourite stop on the island.

    The road is a bit more difficult until here, but the more winding it is, the more beautiful it is, especially if you come from Ierapetra. The descent to Mazida Ammos beach takes your breath away, the scenery is worth all the effort.

    Elaini was there to greet us with a home baked pastry and information on the local area. The unit itself was very beautiful and well equipped for a long stay. The beach was a short walk away and tavernas were also a short distance, but we drove being seniors. We especially enjoyed her recommendation of eating at Stavros Traverna, went twice! There are also a couple waterfront travel as within walking distance. The drive to Xerokampos is worth it! We came from the south side of the island and we were surprised to find the mountainous road itself was a UNESCO site! We especially enjoyed her comfy decor and patio surrounded by blooming flowers. Elaini again brought us a wonderful home baked pastry the day we checked out! She’s a dream hostess! Would definitely recommend and next time we would stay longer! The waters were a bit too cool to swim in May but the beaches are beautiful!

    Xerokampos is a very quiet place with many beautiful beaches. There are restaurants and bars directly at the beaches or in the village. You can make most thing on foot without using your car or a taxi. The people at Xerokampos are down to earth and super friendly at all times.

    One of the most beautiful beach in Crete, 700 meters of sand...

    One of the most beautiful beach in Crete, 700 meters of sand and blue water, just amazing. Protected by the wind with local and gorgeus tavernas from the street. There are 24 umbrellas you can rent and there is a delivery coffee service where you can order whatever you want by phone. Amazing.

    This place is so cozy and friendly. In a lot of years around Greece, I've been in many places and slept in many studios and I returned to Xerokampos after 10 years. Margarita and Maria are lovely, superfriendly and always there for you. The position of the studio is perfect, close to the tavernas and with a wonderful sea view. Kitchenette full equipped. The studio was spacious, comfortable and clean. Xerokampos is a diamond on Crete and stay at Asteras was a pleasure. Thanks to Margarita and Maria. Hantra Thalassia!

    This place is amazing! The host is a wonderful host and he will get way out of his way for ensuring his guests are comfortable. The apartment is conveniently located near a mini market and includes everything someone might need for having a pleasant stay. Highlight of the apartment is the front balcony with beautiful sea view and the colorful artwork. Do not hesitate following the host’s list of tips for restaurants and places to visit and be sure you’ll have an amazing experience of Eastern Crete!

    First class accommodation with attentive hosts. Villa was fully equipped with all requirements to ensure our stay was hassle free. Situated in Olive grove and a few minutes walk to lovely beach. Other beautiful beaches within a couple of minutes drive. Tavernas also within walking distance. Hosts Christanthi and Georgios were fantastic with info on area and gifts of their produce grown on their land. Xerokampos is a quiet village with stunning non commercial beaches and crowd free. Total relaxation

Magnificent sea views of the Xerokampos golf from the private terrace, true Cretan hospitality, ( they provide us with fruits, wine, water, olive oil, honey, cheese pies ) Apartment with everything you need with new big modern bathroom. Very clean!!! Total relaxation, like you are leaving in another Era The beach is only two minutes walking. Don’t miss the experience!!!

    Very nice family run the hotel and restaurant - very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced - best in Xerocampus by far. We spent 6 nights in a double room, good air con and everything worked well, plenty of hot water and a good shower.
