Stylish hotel with super attentive and friendly staff! Great breakfast with a good variety of foods and little surprises like additional pancakes for each hotel guest one day. Tasty 5 course dinner menu with changing offers each day. The room was beautiful, many details like the different indirect lights. Overall beautiful hotel, nice pool that wasn’t too crowded, very relaxing environment (not too small and not too big, perfect size of the hotel)! Main stars of the show were the hotel staff though, who were absolutely amazing making sure each guest had a great time, helping whenever you needed advice or had any requests (and they spoke several languages as well).

Here’s a natural, conversational English version: ⸻ One of the best vacations we’ve had in the past few years — thanks to a beautiful new, spotless hotel, incredibly friendly staff, and the peaceful little town of Georgioupolis in Crete. The hotel sits right on a beach with super clean water — there’s literally a mountain spring flowing into the sea. The beach is well taken care of and everything is spotless. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible — we’re so grateful to them for that! Our room was stylish, cozy, and had views of both the mountains and the sea. It was cleaned daily, and we got fresh water every day too. We had breakfast and dinner included — the buffet always had plenty of options, and Cretan food is delicious! We didn’t even use the pool because the sea was just perfect. We also rented a car and explored a bit of Crete. It’s definitely a place you want to come back to — and recommend to all your friends💖

A fantastic family resort where the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. The entire property is spotless, and the restaurants offer good food with a wide variety of buffet options.     Nice town, good range of bars and restaurants for evenings, fairly decent nightlife. Plentiful supermarkets (if a little ‘touristy’ and expensive) but we recommend Anna’s Market just off the main square, which has amazing Spinach and Feta pie (you’ll need to be quick to get it, it sells out fast each day!) and Mythos taverna is popular, with a good range of Cretan dishes as well as the usual options. Beyond that, I would suggest that if you want Culture, a day trip to Chania is a good idea. The bus service from Georgioupoli to Chania costs approximately 5 euros each way per ticket and runs hourly. There are also specific services which go to Chania airport, lots cheaper than a taxi.

    It's a small town with some restaurants which are really good. It is more of a tourist village than a local village. However, the food is good, there are supermarkets and souvenir boutique. Additionally, there are some activities to do, and there is a beach. We went there to take our breakfast and sometimes our dinner, but we were more often in other places.

    Beautiful village near the beach, with lots of places to visit and have breakfast , dinner, go shopping and so on. We visit Georgioupolis every year and always have a great time. It is not too crowded and you can always find things to do like go for a boat trip.

    Its fairly barren around the hotel. No other hotels. A lovely beach bar 50 m from the Oros Hotel. Apart from that you'd have to get a taxi to anywhere else. The views are stunning though over the hills and sea and the sunsets are fab. Wild goats making a nuisance of themselves, eating the hotels planting. There is a main road between the hotel and the beach but there is a tunnel under the road. It's not a big deal though. We didn't leave the hotel though other than the cockail beach bar.

    This is one of those places that is so full of tourists it doesn't feel like any greeks live here or visit. Avoid at all costs unless being surrounded by loud drunk people is your idea of a good time

    Small town with lots of accommodation of varying types and...

    Small town with lots of accommodation of varying types and prices, lots of tavernas and shops. Several supermarkets. Public bus service 10 minutes walk on the New National Road. Town beach occupied by the Corissa hotel and a local beach snack bar. beach stretches for miles to the east of town with much wider beaches and several excellent tavernas such as Margaritari which is about 8km from town. Beds here are free and the food is excellent.

    The staff was very friendly and welcoming, we got refreshments at check in and champagne upon arrival. The food at breakfast and dinner was amazing, we gained a few kilos :) The beach is sandy and sunbeds are comfortable. The animation team did their best to keep us entertained, the beach volleyball was a top activity along with the morning stretch at the beach and all other fitness activities- Dimi is the best! Overall, we loved the hotel and highly recommend it. Btw, thank you for the free room upgrade!

    Very modern hotel, very relaxing, amazing view and access to the sea. Staff were really nice and made our stay really enjoyable. Food at the sea restaurant was really good, we did not try the half-board buffet dinner (which isn’t by the sea). Good breakfast.
