This is such a special place. The building is incredible and we enjoyed looking through their book of photos showing the reconstruction from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Our room was adorable with wonderful old furniture. The homes in the surrounding area are fascinating and we enjoyed exploring the nature trails. The highlight for us was visiting the family of Zlatko Sucic for the love and effort they invested in preserving the cultural heritage of more than 700 exhibits. The house and museum is #34 heading southeast from here.

Our stay at Apartment Aria was exceptional in every way. The host showed outstanding kindness, hospitality, and helpfulness — from the first contact to our departure. The apartment was very clean, tidy, and impressively well-equipped; it had more useful items than most people have in their own homes. The location is perfect, right in the city center, and the private parking in front of the building made everything even easier. We were especially delighted by the extra amenities like the sauna and jacuzzi — a true luxury we didn’t expect but thoroughly enjoyed. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly felt at home. We spent four weeks in Croatia this summer, mainly in Split, and were looking for a calmer, more peaceful place that would also represent the Croatian life style and be close to nature. That’s why we chose Lonjsko Polje. When I first read the reviews for Studio ’98, they seemed exaggerated and the perfect score of 10 felt like a mistake. But when we arrived at this riverside spot, on a quiet and green street, I immediately understood it was true. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. We stayed in the first studio, which was beautifully decorated, very well equipped, and had everything from slippers to mosquito repellent. The garden is magnificent, the atmosphere calm and soothing, yet the place is still very close to the town center and the castle (unfortunately under restoration during our stay). I truly recommend this place – it’s an oasis of peace and charm.

We arrived after the advertised check in time, but that was not an issue for the owner Mihaela at all. She arranged a key collection for us. The bathroom is very ample and the bed is big and comfortable. Safe car parking in the yard.
