Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches. The restaurants are good as well, and anybody can find something to pass the time. The nightlife is very active, there are many oppurtinites to have a party. Who is looking for a more quiet holiday, they should consider book their aparment away from the city center. The beaches are good but sometimes overcrowded. If you plan to visit other places in Istria, Porec is a good "home base". Everything is 50-70km away.Guest review byÁdámHungary - 10.0

Lovely town, great for exploring, beautiful walk around the old town with swimming spots all around. Great for shopping, lovely restaurants, easy to navigate and excellent parking. Along the harbour you can catch a boat trip which is easy to do and well worth it, whatever you choose. Poreč is an ideal destination for those travelling alone, with family or with friends. This town is conducive to relaxation from everyday life full of noise and tasks to be done. Beautiful and sunny weather is guaranteed, so I especially recommend this place to people who live in countries where cloudy and rainy weather prevails. In Poreč you can find many restaurants with traditional Croatian dishes, such as Ćevapčići and pasta with truffles. I recommend visiting places such as the old town, Jama-Grotta Baredine and a boat cruise with dolphin watching. Poreč is a nice old town with great energy.
Poreč is a nice old town with great energy. The town is rather small, but full of people on the Friday. The sea is crystal clear. Only downside is that the beaches are rocky and it is easy to cut your foot on them. Istria itself is rather boring, I like old towns and mountains, I am not a person that would prefer staying on a beach all day and although there is Rovinj and Pula which are great, for a person like me, the southern part of Croatia is more attractive. I was travelling for a karate competition and if I did not spend a half a day in an airconditioned sports hall I would be bored in Istria even the 4 days we were there. So all in all, I liked the location, but staying there longer is not for me. But the sports hall is luxurious, spacious, airconditioned and the competition had quality organisation.Guest review byMichalSlovakia

She gave us many tips on where to eat and where to travel to and what sights in croatia we should see. The place itself looks like a castle from a tale, its beautiful, with a spacious room, great showers, and beautiful garden and view. The breakfast was great, and the croissants were really well made. Thr bus stopped next door to Hotel Porec, we stayed the night then picked up another car from Sixt which is just behind the hotel as well. Very convenient!
