    The town of Umag has a charming coastal feel particularly at the historic centre. There are plenty of food options, lovely sunsets and a motorised 'train' to transport people from their resorts and hotels to the town for only 4€. Prices overall are very reasonable compared to other European destinations.

    The see was dirty so we had to find some other activity.

    The see was dirty so we had to find some other activity. And we found a lot. We were walking in the natural park and met a turtle. We were in Marble cave and it was great. We were vititing Groznjan and Buje, both beautitiful cities. And some waterfalls, absolutely amazing. At last it was one of my best holiday. So there are a lot of other activities possible to do in case os dirty see :)

    Exactly as we were expecting!

    Exactly as we were expecting! And ideal place for a holiday with 7 year old child. Many beautiful places. Very nice people. Small but comfortable city. Clean sea. Lots of attrations and things to do. Cheap comparing to other places. Delicious food

    matrass quality was not that good to sleep on a day before a big ultra run, and for the days to recover. room temperature was also way to high around 24 25 °C while it was much cooler outside. even with the windows open it wouldnt cool down, and the air circulation system did not work while windows were closed.

    Lovely seaside small town. Walkable and bikeable streets.

    Lovely seaside small town. Walkable and bikeable streets. A few beaches nearby. Amazing restaurant strip on the seashore. Family friendly activities during the day. Day trips by boat to see dolphins. Friendly locals. A few older churches and bell tower, all free to visit. Not bustling, more of a relaxed vibe. Gorgeous views of the sea. A great day trip, or to stay for 2-3 nights. Bring a car but be prepared to pay for hourly parking by the sea as street parking is difficult (1.5 euro/hr, 31 euro 24 hrs).

    During September there are lots of clothing shops with "on sale" signs for lovely Italian ladies clothing. Lots of tennis facilities, modern supermarkets, restaurants, souvenir shops and great beaches!

    The modern hotel is directly at its private beach. There are sunbeds, umbrellas etc. there. As mostly in Croatia, it is a stone beach without any sand. So bring your beach shoes! On one side of the hotel, there are no more buildings but the coast and beautiful nature. The location could not be better. The rooms are nice, spacious and modern. The restaurant is excellent - an authentic gourmet restaurant (also at the price of one.)

    The lady was very kind, also gave us some small gifts. The apartment is spacious, very comfortable. The house position is good if you want to wander around to the nearby tourist sights in Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and also 10 minutes from the sea. Easy to park inside the garden.
